Chapter 8 {Temper}

Angelina stood there for a moment, stunned and confused by Lennox's words and actions. She couldn't believe that he had just accused her of using his son to seduce him.

She shook her head, trying to shake off the weird encounter.

"What a jerk," she muttered to herself.

As she turned to walk away, she couldn't help but wonder what had possessed her to agree to Selena's project. Maybe this was a sign that she should just stay far away from the entertainment industry.

Angelina walked back to the Presidential Suite, still puzzled by the encounter with Lennox. She couldn't shake the feeling that he had misunderstood something, but she was too tired to think about it too much right now.

As she entered the suite, she was greeted by the sight of Yue and Zeyden sleeping peacefully in their beds. Mrs. Brown was sitting on a chair nearby, knitting something.

Mrs. Brown looked up as Angelina entered.

"You're back," she said with a smile.

Angelina nodded and walked over to the couch, flopping down with a sigh. She was exhausted, both physically and mentally.

"Yeah, I'm back," she said, closing her eyes.

"And I'm exhausted."

Mrs. Brown chuckled.

"It looks like you've had quite a day," she said, setting down her knitting.

"Do you want me to make you some tea?"

Angelina nodded her head. Angelina grabbed her Zreyn laptop she touched the holographic screen and keyboard and she started to type and put her earbud on and called Red Fox. The Specter Syndicate was highly skilled hacking organization she was the founder of this mysterious hacking organization.

Red Fox answered the call and her face appeared on the screen of the laptop.

"Hey, boss," Red Fox said, a smirk on her face.

"What's up?"

Angelina leaned back on the couch and took a sip of her tea.

"Hey, Red," she said, her voice tired.

"I need you to do something for me."

Red Fox raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Sure, boss. What do you need?"

"Do you think I should join the entertainment industry?" Angelina asked and Red Fox coughed out Red Fox real name is Sia John and she is the only one who knows who Zero Ghost is. Nine years ago Zero Ghost appeared and took the hacking world by the system any hacker who doesn't know the name Zero Ghost isn't a true hacker.

Sia, or Red Fox, sat up in her chair and looked at the screen, a hint of surprise in her eyes. She wasn't expecting Angelina to ask something like that.

"You want to join the entertainment industry?" she repeated, a hint of disbelief in her voice.

Angelina nodded, sipping her tea.

"Yeah, my friend Selena wants me to be in this project she's working on. She thinks I'd be perfect for the role."

Red Fox leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms, a thoughtful expression on her face.

"And what do you think?" she asked.

"I find it annoying," Angelina said in her honest voice her eyes were cold as ice.

"Boss, you are extremely beautiful but you have the worst temper and they will those who just want to take you down, with your temper I think you need to be careful," Sia said.

Angelina let out a scoff.

"Yeah, I know I have a temper. But I can control it," she said, taking another sip of her tea.

Sia chuckled.

"Are you sure about that, boss? I've seen you lose your cool more times than I can count."

"Name it?"

Sia thought for a moment, a sly smile on her face.

"How about the time you hacked into that company's system and they threatened to sue you, and you responded by leaking all their confidential information to the public?"

"Sia I had my reason!" Angelina said with a cold expression.

Sia raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, I know you had your reasons. But I'm just saying, your temper can get the best of you sometimes."

She leaned forward, her eyes fixed on the screen.

"And let's not forget the time you got into a fight with that group of hackers who tried to steal our secrets. You almost started a cyber war, boss."

"Not to brag but we won that cyber war."

Sia chuckled.

"Yeah, we did win. But it was a close call."

She shook her head, a hint of admiration in her eyes.

"You're the best hacker I know, boss. But sometimes I wonder if your temper will be your downfall."

Angelina huffed, clearly annoyed by Sia's words.

"My temper is what makes me good at what I do," she said, her voice icy.

Sia raised her hands in surrender.

"Hey, I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's just something to be aware of."

She paused for a moment, her expression becoming serious.

"But seriously, boss, if you do join the entertainment industry, you gotta watch your back. There are a lot of sharks out there, and they'll be circling you like vultures."

Angelina leaned back on the couch, sighing. She knew Sia was right, but she didn't want to admit it.

"I know," she said, her voice quieter now.

"I'll be careful."

Sia nodded, her expression softening.

"Good. I don't want to see anything bad happen to you, boss. You're like a sister to me, you know that, right?"

"I know that, find more about this project I want the script on my email within an hour," Angelina said and hanged up she stood up and walked outside the balcony she leaned over and she looked at the Los Angeles. Her eyes turned and saw the other suit balcony but no one was out.

As Angelina leaned over the balcony, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. It had been six years since she had been in Los Angeles, and a lot had changed.

As she looked around, she noticed a figure standing on the balcony of the neighboring suite. They were too far away for her to make out any details, but something about their presence caught her attention.

Angelina ignored it.

As Angelina walked back into the suite, she heard the chime of her phone, indicating that she had received an email.

She walked over to the couch and picked up her phone, tapping on the email notification. The subject line read: "Project Script."

Curious, Angelina opened the email and started to read through the script.

As Angelina read through the script, she was immediately struck by the character she was supposed to play. It was a villainous role, one that required a certain level of cunning and ruthlessness.

Angelina couldn't help but feel a pang of excitement as she read through the lines. Playing a villain was a challenge she had never attempted before, and she found herself looking forward to the prospect. Angelina smirked she will play this role so what if she has never acted before she is a genius in her right.

As Angelina read through the script, she became more and more immersed in the character. The villainous dialogue, the cunning schemes, and the overall dark tone of the project were all appealing to her.

She found herself picturing herself in the role, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of determination. She was going to make this role her own, no matter what it took.

"Angelina you must go to bed you need more sleep than most people," Ms. Brown said as she took Angelina phone away. Ms. Brown was not wrong Angelina needed full eleven to twelve hours of sleep for her to work perfectly fine. Even though her body is back what it should have been inside the body is still healing and for that she needs lots upon lots of rest. Back when she was in France her friends in France would call her the sleeping fairy.
