Chapter 13 {Two Timing}

Charlotte's head snapped back from the force of the slap, and she stumbled backwards, falling onto the ground once again.

"Ow!" she exclaimed, holding her cheek again.

"You... you're insane!"

Angelina stood over Charlotte, her eyes filled with anger and disgust.

"You're lucky I don't do more than slap you," she said, her voice low and menacing.

"Insult my daughter again and I won't hesitate to end you."

Charlotte looked up at Angelina, clearly terrified by her anger.

"Y-you're crazy," she stuttered, her voice shaking.

"You've lost your mind."

Angelina leaned down and grabbed Charlotte by the hair, pulling her up to her feet.

"You're the one who's crazy," she said, her voice cold and hard.

"You think you can insult my children and get away with it?"

Charlotte winced in pain as Angelina pulled her up by her hair.

"Let go of me!" she exclaimed, trying to pull away from Angelina's grip.

Angelina tightened her grip on Charlotte's hair, pulling harder.

"I'll let go when I'm good and ready," she said, her voice full of anger and menace.

"You need to learn to keep your mouth shut and mind your own business."

Angelina let go of Charlottle and she got inside the taxi she looked at Charlotte who stood up. She walked toward her expensive car she felt frighten after that encounter with Angelina she is so different that bitch!

Charlotte watched as Angelina got into the taxi and drove away. She stood there, rubbing her aching cheek, trying to process what had just happened.

"She's... she's completely different," she muttered to herself, clearly shaken by the encounter.

Charlotte got into her own car and started the engine, still shaken by the experience. She couldn't believe how different Angelina was now, and how terrifying her anger had been.

Angelina sat inside the taxi she closed her eyes the truth is she really doesn't know who the father of her kids are both Zeyden and Yue asked her she just doesn't know what to say.

Angelina leaned back in the seat of the taxi, her mind racing. She couldn't help but think about the fact that she didn't know who the father of her children was.

Angelina didn't care to much anymore. The taxi driver pulled over at Azure Celestial Hotel.

Angelina thanked the taxi driver and got out of the car. She walked into the hotel, her mind still preoccupied with her thoughts.

As she entered the lobby, she was greeted by the familiar opulence of the Azure Celestial Hotel. The staff greeted her warmly, but she barely registered their presence as she made her way towards the elevator.

"Miss!" A male shouted. Angelina was not in a good mood her eyes widen when she saw Manson how the hell did he find her?

"Miss my name is Manson Mayers what is your name?" Manson said in a flirting tone. Angelina frowned so he doesn't recognize her that's good.

"Ruth Queens," Angelina said that was her mother name before she changed her name.

"Lady Ruth?" Manson said and Angelina nodded her head.

"Nice to meet you…"

Angelina nodded, keeping up the charade.

"Likewise," she replied, her voice cold and indifferent.

Manson looked at Angelina, his eyes roaming over her body. He clearly found her attractive, despite the fact that she was wearing a face mask.

"You know, you have a very attractive figure," he said, his voice smooth and flirtatious.

Angelina looked so disgusted but she stopped wait what if Manson knows about her missing her son.

"Let's eat something," Angelina said since he doesn't recognize her she can use this to her advantage.

Manson raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by Angelina's suggestion.

"Sure, I'd love to have lunch with you," he said, a small smile on his face.

"Is there any particular place you had in mind?"

"Let's here," Angelina said as she saw a burger restaurant inside the hotel. Both of them sat down it was raining outside she tapped her finger on the table as she looked at the water.

Angelina didn't answer him.

"Oh my gosh Young Master Manson I heard you are engaged to Angelina Frost," Angelina said with a sweet smile she took off her face mask her beautiful face showed.

"Oh Miss Ruth, you mean that ugly fatty fool? I will never marry that ugly fatty so disgusting," Mason said. Angelina eyes became cold but didn't say anything.

Mason continued, clearly oblivious to Angelina's cold glare.

"That woman is a total disgrace," he said, his voice filled with disdain.

"She's fat, ugly, and talentless. I have no idea why anyone would even want to be associated with her."

"But isn't she your fiancé?" Angelina asked gently.

Manson rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed by the question.

"Ugh, don't remind me," he said with a sneer.

"My father arranged the engagement without my consent. I have no interest in marrying that ugly fatty. In fact, I can't wait to break off the engagement."

"Is it true she was pregnant with someone else child? Six years ago," Angelina said she will get the answers she wants she doesn't care about Manson at this moment.

"Yes she went out of the country," Manson said. So that's what her family told everyone.

"What about her kids I heard her third child went missing is that true?"

"Who that I don't know anything," Manson said. Angelina eyes narrowed.

Mason continued, clearly bored by the topic of conversation.

"I don't keep track of that ugly fatty's life," he said, his voice filled with disdain.

"All I know is that she had three kids and that the third one went missing. But who knows if that's even true."

The elevator of the lobby opened. Lennox had this imposing aura around him he was checking in the hotel making sure everything is running properly.

"Oh my gosh she is two timing!" Axel said and Lennox eyes landed on Angelina who was sitting there and smiling at a man across from her.

Lennox didn't say anything he only narrowed his eyes his two personal and trusted guards Joe and Ben just flew in from New York City so this is the first time seeing the woman who is sitting there.

"Fleet Commander look at that she uses your son to get to you, then calls you outrageous beast, and now since it's not working she went to another man!" Axel said. Lennox once didn't say anything his eyes were just narrowed.

Joe and Ben, who were standing behind Axel, couldn't believe what they were seeing. They had heard about the woman who had called Lennox an outrageous beast, and now they were seeing her sitting across from a man, smiling and laughing.

"Looks like she's got a thing for the rich ones," Ben muttered under his breath.

Lennox's eyes remained fixed on Angelina, his expression stoic.

Angelina frowned so he doesn't know anything about her missing useless. Angelina stood up and Mason stood up as well he tried to grab Angelina hand but dodged the touch.

"I am sorry Mr. Meyers but I need to go," Angelina said.

"Miss. Ruth did I upset you?" Manson asked. Angelina just ignored him and walked inside the elevator and closed her eyes the elevator door closed damn it.

Joe and Ben glanced at each other, sensing the tension in the air.

"Looks like she's in a hurry," Ben said, trying to lighten the mood.

Lennox didn't respond. He just continued to stare at the elevator, his mind clearly preoccupied with thoughts about the woman who had just left.

Axel, who was standing next to Lennox, couldn't help but speak up.

"Did you see that, Fleet Commander? She was flirting with that man," he said, his voice filled with disgust.

Lennox's eyes narrowed slightly, but he remained silent.

Joe and Ben exchanged another glance, clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
