The old woman smiled at Angelina, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
"Thank you, young lady," she said, her voice soft and gentle.
"You didn't have to do that for me, but I appreciate your kindness."
"It was nothing," Angelina said, waving off the old woman's gratitude.
"It's my duty to protect the weak and elderly."
The old woman smiled, her eyes filled with gratitude and respect.
"I can see that you are a kind-hearted and strong young woman," she said.
"You have a good heart, and you are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in."
"Thank you," Angelina said, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"But I'm not as kind as you think."
"My name is Eliza."
"As you heard Angelina."
The old woman, Eliza, smiled at Angelina.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Angelina. You have a strong name."
"And a strong personality to match it, I bet," Eliza added with a chuckle.
As Eliza walked outside, she couldn't contain her excitement. She was already imagining the perfect future granddaughter in law for her great grandson Lennox. She knew that Angelina was the one, and she was determined to make it happen.
Meanwhile, Angelina continued her shopping, blissfully unaware of the impact her kind act had made on Eliza Zhevoka.
Eliza was staying at a mansion in LA with her husband who was reading a book. Her husband was once a military General.
"Hubby I found the perfect great granddaughter in law for our cold heartless great grandson!" Eliza said. The man old man who had a body of a military man his eyes were sharp and blue Victor looked at his wife.
"Mmm you seem to like whoever you have in mind."
Eliza nodded enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Yes, I have the perfect candidate in mind. She's a strong and kind-hearted young woman with a good head on her shoulders," she said.
Victor raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his wife's words.
"Oh really? And who might this perfect candidate be?"
"I forgot her last name but Angelina anyway they are many Angelina but I will remember this one if we see her again, of course I won't tell our great grandson even though we have so many great grandkids it doesn't matter this woman is the one and I believe she will be a good mother to our little great great grandson Anderson," Eliza said already cooking up a plan to meet Angelina again.
Victor listened to his wife's words, his expression thoughtful.
"Angelina, you say? That's a beautiful name," he said.
"And you think she would make a good wife for Lennox and mother for Anderson?" he added, his voice betraying a hint of skepticism.
Eliza nodded fervently, her eyes sparkling with conviction.
"Yes, absolutely! She's strong, kind, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. And she's beautiful too," she said.
"Not to mention, she has a good head on her shoulders and a strong personality. She'll be the perfect match for our great grandson."
Victor nodded, a small smile on his face.
"I have no doubt that you've done your due diligence in assessing her character, my love. If you believe she's the one, then I trust your judgment."
"But how do you plan to introduce her to Lennox?" he asked, a hint of concern in his voice.
"Not now I will get there when it's time," Eliza said with a snort and walked off as servants came to make sure Eliza was okay. Victor narrowed his eyes.
"Who bullied my wife, make sure they regret it," Victor said in a cold voice to one of his guards.
The guard, who was a tall and muscular man, nodded respectfully.
"Yes, sir. We'll make sure they regret it," he said, his voice firm and confident.
Victor nodded, satisfied with the guard's response.
"Good. I trust you to handle this matter discreetly and effectively," he said.
The guard bowed his head in acknowledgment.
"Yes, sir. We'll take care of it," he said before leaving the room.
Victor returned to his book, his mind still preoccupied with thoughts of the young woman his wife had seen as the perfect future granddaughter in law.
Angelina walked into the room and found her kids crying in front of the television, tears streaming down their faces. She couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness seeing them so upset.
"What's wrong?" she asked, her voice soft and soothing.
"Dog Purpose is so sad!" Yue and Zeyden said and Angelina sighed she also cried when she watched this movie when she was much younger.
Angelina sat down next to her kids and wrapped her arms around them, pulling them close.
"I know it's sad," she said, her voice gentle.
"But it's also a beautiful story about the love between a boy and his dog."
Yue and Zeyden looked up at their mother, their eyes still watery with tears.
"But he dies at the end," Yue said, her voice choked with emotion.
"And they're separated for so long," Zeyden added, his voice trembling.
"Yes but at the end of the day they are together like we have been far away from your missing brother one day we will find him and boom! We will be a happy family of four," Angelina said sweetly.
Yue and Zeyden sniffled, their tears slowly subsiding as they listened to their mother's words.
"You're right," Yue said, her voice a little steadier.
"We will find him, and we'll be together again," Zeyden added, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"You two are so silly, okay I shopped for you guys," Angelina said as she pointed at bunch of shopping bags. Angelina sat down and she put on Frozen.
Yue and Zeyden's eyes widened as they saw the pile of shopping bags. They immediately forgot about the sad movie and jumped up excitedly.
"For us?" Yue asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Yes, for you," Angelina said, chuckling.
"What did you buy for us?" Zeyden asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
"Go check yourself."
Yue and Zeyden immediately began digging through the shopping bags, their excitement growing with every new item they found.
Meanwhile, Angelina settled down on the couch and put on "You," the Netflix show. She was in the middle of the second season, and she was eager to see what would happen next.
Yue and Zeyden were having a blast going through the clothes and accessories their mother had bought for them.
Meanwhile, Angelina was completely engrossed in the show, her eyes glued to the screen as she followed the twists and turns of the plot.
"Zeyden, Yue order pizza," Angelina said.
Yue and Zeyden nodded, already reaching for the phone to order pizza.
Angelina munched on her chips, her expression stoic and unemotional. Despite her cold exterior, she was secretly enjoying the family time with her kids.
Yue and Zeyden placed the order for pizza, and soon enough the aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the room.
Yue and Zeyden sat on either side of their mother, each holding a slice of pizza out for her to eat.
Angelina took a bite of the pizza, her eyes still glued to the screen. She chewed slowly, savoring the taste of the pizza while still paying attention to the show.
"Mmm, this is good," she said, her voice nonchalant.
As they lay on the couch together, Angelina wrapped her arms around Yue and Zeyden, holding them close. She could feel their small, warm bodies pressed against hers, and it filled her with a sense of contentment.
The twins snuggled closer to their mother, feeling safe and loved in her embrace. They knew that no matter how busy she was, she always made time for them.
Eventually, they all drifted off to sleep, their bodies tangled together in a peaceful, familial embrace.
