Chapter 23 {Mission}

Lennox's cold and commanding presence immediately silenced the crowd. Everyone knew who he was, and they were all intimidated by his presence.

Cora's face paled as she realized who Lennox was. She had heard stories about him and his reputation, and she knew better than to mess with him.

Angelina held Yue in her arms, her eyes fixed on Lennox. She could sense the power and authority that emanated from him, and she felt a sense of awe and respect for him but also annoyed why did he ruin her time about to fight?

Lennox's gaze shifted to Angelina and Yue. He couldn't help but notice how beautiful Yue was and how much she resembled her mother.

He felt a pang of something in his chest, but he quickly pushed the feeling aside.

"Control your daughter," he said to Angelina, his voice cold and firm. Both Yue and Angelina halted at Lennox fearlessly. Yue jumped down and she run up the stairs since she was now bored and now angry at her daddy.

Manson and his group of friend started to rush out. Angelina stepped forward she grabbed Cora hand.

"Your promise tell me."

"Let me go!" Cora said she cannot mess with Lennox Zhevoka! Out of the Zhevoka Family members his the head of the Zhevoka family and someone who is feared crossing him is like putting a target on your back! Angelina let go.

Cora stumbled back, her face pale with fear. She knew better than to mess with the Zhevoka family, and she had no desire to become a target.

"I don't know!" Cora said.

Angelina swing her leg and kicked in the stomach her eyes glowed and grabbed Cora face and slammed it on the ground.

"Do you remember?" Angelina asked her eyes were menacing.

"Let go let go! I don't know what you are talking about!" Cora shouted.

"Ms. Frost no fighting allowed," Axel said.

"But sir they are a group of them and one of me? Should I stand there?" Angelina asked sweetly. Cora was crying and Angelina grabbed her pin and stabbed it on the ground.

"Speak," Angelina said. Cora trembled.

"I DON'T KNOW! I REALLY DONT KNOW I PUT MY BEAUTY AND MY FOLLOWERS ONLINE!" Cora shouted. Angelina looked at Cora she isn't lying.

"All I know is your dad must know what happened that night," Cora said and Angelina released. Her dad isn't a fool.

Angelina let go of Cora, and she stood up, her expression thoughtful. She knew that Cora was telling the truth, and that her father must have some information about what happened six years ago.

She glanced at Lennox, who was watching her with a stoic expression on his face. She could sense that he was observing her every move, and it made her feel slightly uneasy.

Angelina walked over and she looked at Angelina she was about to apologize but she let out a yawn and her stomach grumbled.

"I did not mean any disrespect," Angelina said. Axel was about to scold Angelina but Lennox shut him up.

"Huh uh," Lennox's said and his friends and Axel already shocked that he butted in someone else trouble. Angelina was no longer in a moon she grabbed a large liquor bottle and walked off as she walked in the elevator. Lennox frowned those fox like eyes and she seems sad Lennox found it strange he wanted to help Angelina. The moment the elevator closed Angelina drink the bottle of liquor.

Lennox watched as Angelina walked away, a strange feeling in his chest. He couldn't understand why he felt the sudden urge to help her, and it puzzled him.

Meanwhile, Angelina was in the elevator, drinking the bottle of liquor. The alcohol was strong, and it burned her throat, but it also made her feel numb, and she craved that feeling of oblivion.

Yue and Zeyden were sitting on the couch, waiting for their mother to come back. When Angelina walked in, they both immediately jumped up and ran over to her.

"We missed you, Mama!" Yue said, hugging her.

"We love you!" Zeyden added, clinging onto her leg.

Angelina smiled and hugged them both tightly. She felt a surge of love and affection for her children, and it gave her the strength she needed to keep going.

Angelina sat down on the couch with Yue and Zeyden, and they cuddled up next to her. She stroked their hair and planted kisses on their foreheads.

"Mama, we missed you so much," Yue said, looking up at her with wide, puppy-dog eyes.

"We love you more than anything," Zeyden added, snuggling closer to her.

Angelina's heart swelled with love and affection for her children. She wrapped her arms around them, holding them close.

"I missed you both too," she said, her voice soft and tender.

"I love you both more than anything in the world."

That night Sia made a call to Angelina who took up the call she just finished her shower.

"Mmm Red Fox," Angelina said.

"Zero Ghost there is a mission do you want to take it?" Red Fox asked. As the founder of her hacking organization Angelina only did mission that were worth her time.

Angelina paused, considering the mission. She was always up for a challenge, and she was bored anyway.

"Sure," she said, her voice nonchalant.

"What's the mission?"

"The target is a high-ranking government official who has been embezzling funds and selling military secrets," Red Fox said. "He's scheduled to be at a party tomorrow night. The mission is to hack into his computer and steal the evidence of his crimes."

"I will take on this mission how much credit coins am I being paid? After all they asked for Zero Ghost," Angelina said coldly.

Red Fox chuckled on the other side of the phone. She knew that Angelina was all about the credit coins.

"50 million," she said.

"This mission is worth a lot."

"Send me the location and the time," Angelina said and logged off. This will keep her mind away from her missing son.

Red Fox sent the location and time of the mission to Angelina, and Angelina quickly memorized it.

She set the phone down and closed her eyes, feeling a sense of determination and anticipation. This mission was going to be a piece of cake for her.
