Shoutout to both Andrew_maconha and commander_Walker for both commenting Ideas of worlds and commenting to each other. Will probably use some world's they both recommended later.
This chapter is just a filler episode about Berry trying to think what Items he will need to be ready and quickly visiting a world to set up how world travel works before we go fully in. Basically just a little hint and dip.
This world will last 2 chapters so this one and the other.
The world ticket system is kinda not a thing anymore since it is complicated however it might comeback as a item for a different character to use if I decide for Berry to give a cartoon character a ticket for them to travel to another world since they need the celestial book to travel and berry always carries the book now sooo..yea
Shoutout to ahmed_waleed_1200 for saying thanks and PidgeonKing for asking questions. Questions are always appreciated.

(First POV)(1 day later)
Finals are finally over, and now I'm on break! I've already got my next semester classes planned out, which means I have nothing but free time!
Normally, I'd go to my mom's or dad's place, but this time, I decided to stay in my dorm. That way, they won't bug me about my stuff. I mean, imagine if they walked into my room and caught me using the spell book… Yeah, no thanks.
So, with all this time on my hands, I started thinking about what to do next. Best option? Test the book by visiting a safe world first, just for a few hours, to see how everything works. I even made a pros and cons list… and, well, it was mostly cons, not gonna lie. Sure, I could grab some cool tech or magic items from another world, but I could also just as easily get killed by some overpowered character out of nowhere.
The book says I need a clear image of the world I want to go to, which basically means any fictional world—fanfiction included—is fair too. That also means I could go find an OP OC and ask them for power… but that's probably a terrible idea I think since they could just take my power for themselves or straight-up kill me, so… yeah, not risking that.
It sucks being weak, but that just makes getting stronger even better in the end!
Meanwhile, BMO's just been chilling, playing Animal Crossing on my Switch. He's basically just a kid, and honestly, I'm starting to wonder if bringing him on adventures is even fair. I mean, physically and mentally, some of these worlds could be brutal for him… but I'll deal with that later.
For now, I decided to do a trial run. Just a short trip to test the rules of interdimensional travel. And the universe I picked? Drum roll please!
Steven Universe!
It's a chill world, nothing crazy (at least in the beginning), and I'd only be there for a few hours to check out Beach City before anything of the big stuff goes down. But I had four big reasons for choosing it:
1.Testing Time – If I can choose when I arrive, that opens up a lot of possibilities. Think about it—if I can drop into a world at a specific moment, like right before Powder grabs the hex crystal in Arcane, I could stop her, help the kids, or even grab the crystals for myself.
2.Testing spawn point– Same thing with where I appear. If I can land anywhere in Beach City, that means I might be able to spawn in even more specific spots in other worlds. Like, imagine appearing directly in a vault filled with hex crystals? That'd be insane.
3.Testing Physical Changes to me – What happens to me and my stuff when I enter a different world? Will I turn into a 2D cartoon version of myself? If so, that probably means I follow cartoon physics, which could be super useful. Also, do my items change? Will my cash turn into cartoon money? Will my spell book match the art style? Gotta find out.
4.Because I Just Want to See Beach City – Yeah, I know, kinda eh compared to the other reasons, but come on—imagine standing on the shore, watching the sunset over the ocean. That place has gotta look stunning in person. I need to open the portal at night anyways might as well do it after the sunset disappears.
With that plan set, I had to get ready. The next morning, I went to the bank for $50, grabbed some snacks, and took a nice, long shower. I mean, if I'm visiting another world, I at least wanna smell decent, right?
I decided to take my backpack and Thor's hammer replica. Meanwhile I could not lift, I found out that using the gravity gauntlet made me be able to lift it but not use it. I was now able to carry it but not use it since I was not worthy..Damn
It is kinda like Moon Knight from Marvel(the hand of konshu who is the god of the moon) was able to control Mjolnir but not lift it since he was not worthy in the comics. Wonder if Luna from my little pony would be able to do the same? Kinda want to see that, anyway off track.
I took the backpack that had most stuff, and the gauntlet with the hammer. Now I just needed to wait for a few hours since it is 11:30 Am..Yea I woke up early for this shit.
(3 hours later, 2:30 Pm)
While the spell is at its strongest at night—lasting a full minute at midnight—it can still be used during the day. The only issue? It'll only stay open for about seven seconds. But that's more than enough time for me to get through. I may not be fully super-soldier level, but I'm fast enough. Of course, considering the fact that a lot of aliens (cough Gems cough) are way beyond super-soldier level, my strength doesn't mean much.
To make sure I wouldn't be seen, I drove to a secluded hill… inside a graveyard. Yeah, I know, that sounds bad, but let's be real—how many people actually visit graveyards regularly? Exactly. No one was around. Kinda depressing when you really think about it.
I also decided to leave BMO behind. He'd attract way too much attention, and I'd rather not deal with people questioning why I'm carrying around a living game console. Not that I won't look any less suspiciously weird—I am wearing a gauntlet and carrying a hammer—but I could always play it off as being a tourist or a cosplayer. Other countries exist here but it also exists there, so it's not totally weird.
Taking out my book, I focused. I pictured my target—the beach of Beach City. The sand. The ocean. The rocky cliffs. I visualized how the town looked exactly as it looked in the series. The more details I had in mind, the higher my chances of opening the portal correctly.
Then, I spoke the words:
"Aperire portas astrorum, transire fines temporis et spatii."
(Open the gates of the stars, cross the boundaries of time and space.)
A tear in space split open a few feet away, glowing and swirling with cosmic energy. Without hesitation, I sprinted forward, putting everything I had into my run.
The second I crossed the threshold—
I saw beauty.
The moment I entered the portal, everything changed.
Colors exploded all around me, stretching into infinity. It was like moving through a living, breathing aurora borealis, each hue shifting and twisting in ways that defied logic. I felt weightless—no, I felt everything at once. Like I was being pulled in a million directions but also standing completely still.
Then the sounds hit. A strange, melodic melody filled the space, vibrating through my body like a song the universe itself was singing. It wasn't overwhelming, though. If anything, it felt… welcoming…What was that melody?
I looked down—only to see that I had no physical form. My hands were transparent, outlined in flickering light, as if I was becoming part of the portal itself. But before I could even panic, the sensation shifted again.
Suddenly, I felt gravity. My body solidified. The swirling colors around me stretched and blurred until—
THUD.
I hit the ground.
Warmth. Sand. The scent of salt in the air. I pushed myself up, blinking rapidly as my vision adjusted. The first thing I noticed was the ocean. The waves rolled gently onto the shore, glistening under the sun. The cliffs stood proudly in the distance, just like in the show.
I was here. I actually made it to Beach City.
For a second, I just stood there, taking it all in. No one was around to notice my sudden arrival. Everything looked just as I had imagined—maybe even better in person. I couldn't believe it.
And the bes—
"What the—?!"
My head snapped to the side.
Standing a few feet away, staring directly at me, was none other than Ronaldo Fryman. His eyes were wide, his mouth slightly open in shock.
Well. Shit.
Ronaldo's eyes looked like they might pop right out of his skull as he stared at me, completely frozen. His hands fidgeted near his pockets, like he was torn between reaching for his phone or bolting for the nearest hiding spot. Then, in trademark Ronaldo style, he dramatically stepped forward, pointing straight at me with a trembling finger.
"HOLY CRAP! ALIEN INVASION? INTERDIMENSIONAL TRAVEL? SECRET GOVERNMENT EXPERIMENT?!"
I opened my mouth to try and say something, but I didn't even get a syllable out before he started throwing questions at me like a machine gun of conspiracy theories.
"Wait, wait—WHO are you? WHERE did you come from?! That wasn't normal appearing, dude, you literally materialized out of thin air! Were you beamed down?! Are you a gem hybrid? NO! A time traveler! Or—or wait, maybe you're a clone! A clone sent back in time to prevent an interdimensional war?!"
His eyes sparkled with a kind of frantic excitement that was both comical and a little unsettling.
"Oh my gosh, you're a sleeper agent, aren't you?! Like, your memory got wiped, but your mission is still hidden somewhere in your subconscious, waiting to activate! Dude, I knew something like this would happen one day! This is just like the theories I wrote about in my blog—wait, wait, are you here to confirm them?!"
Before I could manage a single word, he reached behind him—into some pocket or pouch I couldn't see—and whipped out a small, battered notepad and pen. How he managed to hide that on him, I had no clue.
"Okay, okay—first question! What's your home dimension like? Is it some futuristic dystopia? Do you guys have flying cars? Are there more of you coming?! Should Beach City be worried? Are you hostile?! You're not hostile, right?"
Then, his face lit up like a kid on their birthday, and he leaned in close, voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
"…Or are you here because you need my help?!"
His entire body seemed to vibrate with excitement, and I could see about a dozen follow-up questions forming in his mind as he practically trembled in place.
"Dude. DUDE. If this is some 'chosen one' scenario, you gotta tell me now. I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. Do I need to join you on a grand cosmic quest?! Because I am so ready."
I stood there, half of me wanting to burst out laughing and the other half trying to process the absolute tidal wave of questions he'd just thrown at me. This was definitely not the reaction I'd anticipated for my first few minutes in Beach City. Finally, I let out a long, tired sigh and rubbed my temples.
"No," I began, carefully choosing my words, "I'm not an alien, a government experiment, or a time-traveling clone."
Ronaldo's shoulders sagged for a moment, like I'd just told him Santa wasn't real. But just as quickly, his eyes lit up again—undeterred curiosity blazing even brighter.
"Then what are you?!"
I took a slow breath, reminding myself that a little honesty might go a long way. "I'm a universal traveler. I needed to test my abilities for the first time, and this world seemed like the safest place to do it." I shrugged apologetically. "Sorry, Ronaldo."
He gaped at me, speechless for a few seconds—which was honestly impressive for someone like him. I could almost hear the gears in his head spinning into overdrive. His mouth opened, probably ready to unleash round two of his interrogation, but I quickly cut him off.
"By the way, can you try lifting this hammer?" I set down my Thor hammer replica on the sand at our feet.
The effect was instantaneous: Ronaldo's paranoia vanished, replaced by pure, wide-eyed excitement.
"OHHH, is this, like, an Excalibur test?! Am I supposed to prove my worth? Is this to see if I have the soul of a hero?!"
I gave him a knowing smirk. "Go ahead. Give it a shot."
He cracked his knuckles, puffed out his chest, and wrapped both hands around the hammer's handle. For a full five seconds, he tugged, veins popping out on his forehead as he gritted his teeth.
Nothing.
He re-positioned his feet and tried again, cheeks reddening from the strain.
Still nothing.
One last desperate attempt—he heaved with everything he had, letting out a guttural noise somewhere between a battle cry and a whimper. Finally, he stumbled backward, breathless.
"OH. MY. FRYBITS."
He pointed a trembling finger at the hammer, eyes wide with a mix of awe and frustration.
"This… this is a cosmic test, isn't it?! A mystical artifact that can only be wielded by those the multiverse deems worthy! I knew it! I—I need to train! Do push-ups! Meditate! I must become WORTHY!"
I folded my arms across my chest, trying (and mostly failing) not to laugh at the sheer drama of it all. But hey, if anyone could match the energy of a cosmic quest, it was Ronaldo.
(15 Minutes Later)
We ended up at Fryman's Fry Shop, perched on a bench facing the ocean, each of us with a mountain of Beach City's legendary fries. The late-afternoon sun painted the sky with orange and pink streaks, and a gentle breeze carried the salty scent of the sea.
Ronaldo was still vibrating with excitement. He shoved another handful of hot, crispy fries into his mouth, barely chewing before he spoke.
"So let me get this straight—the hammer isn't just heavy, it's, like, enchanted so only someone truly worthy can pick it up?"
I dipped a fry in ketchup, nodding. "Pretty much. Even though it's just a 'lesser replica,' it still follows the same rules. Doesn't matter how strong you are—if you don't fit the hammer's criteria, it might as well be glued to the ground."
He looked contemplative, brow furrowing. "So… you gotta be a real hero, huh? Like, selfless and brave and… everything I'm probably not."
I chuckled. "Not saying it's easy. Most people never even get close to that level of worthiness."
He let out a theatrical sigh, staring wistfully at the passing seagulls. "Man, I've got some serious training ahead of me…"
Then his gaze landed on something floating behind me. I could tell exactly the moment he registered what it was—his eyes widened and he practically dropped his fries.
"Dude… your book. It's… it's just floating there!"
I glanced back at the Celestial Spellbook, its pages fluttering gently in an invisible breeze. The cover shimmered with starlight, runes glowing softly.
"Oh, yeah, that. It's the Celestial Book. It's how I travel between fictional worlds."
Ronaldo's fingers twitched like he was dying to poke at it. "That is… the coolest thing I've ever seen. So, hold on—you're from a world where Beach City is just a TV show? A cartoon?"
I shrugged, taking a bite of my fry. "Exactly. In my world, this place exists purely as fiction. But now, it's real. At least, real in this universe."
Ronaldo looked at the boardwalk, the ocean, and then down at the fries in his hand like he was reevaluating everything. "That is so wild… I mean, this changes everything. Am I even real? What if my entire existence is just a storyline in someone else's dimension?"
I reached out and gently patted him on the shoulder. "Trust me, you're as real as I am, man."
After a moment of existential crisis, he seemed to snap out of it. He leaned in closer, voice hushed with excitement. "So what else can you do? I mean, you show up with a magic hammer, a floating book, you're obviously packing some serious cosmic-level gear. Spill it, traveler!"
I couldn't help smirking. Lifting my hand, I let a soft wave of Hamon energy ripple through my fingers, emanating a warm, golden glow. The fries on the tray fizzed slightly, like they could sense the life energy crackling in the air.
Ronaldo nearly choked on his soda. "HOLY FRYBITS! Is that—Hamon? As in, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Hamon?"
Apparently they have anime and other stuff here…Ronaldo would be one of the only ones to watch anime..
"Yep." I flexed my hand, the energy dancing over my knuckles. "Helps me heal, enhances my body, and it's super effective against undead or supernatural threats."
He slapped the table so hard our fry trays rattled. "DO YOU HAVE A STAND?!"
I laughed. "No Stand, sorry. But I've got other stuff."
I dug into my backpack, pulling out the sleek Omnitrix Scanner. Its neon interface flickered alive with alien glyphs.
"This thing comes from the Ben 10 universe. Doesn't let me transform, but it can analyze different species."
Ronaldo gasped, immediately reaching out to touch it but stopping himself at the last second. "That's… that's so insane. Wait, do you have, like… a stealth device too?!"
I grinned, holding up the small, metallic Predator Cloaking Device. "Yep. Basically grants me temporary invisibility."
He threw his arms in the air, letting out a frustrated laugh. "DUDE, STOP! You're basically a walking cheat code, picking up stuff from all over the multiverse!"
I shrugged. "I mean, it's not always that amazing. My power's random—it can give me a cosmic-level artifact or, y'know…"
"So… what's next for you, traveler? Big hero quest? Gathering artifacts to save the universe? Or just exploring for kicks?"
I glanced out at the ocean, the sunlight turning the waves a warm amber hue. "Honestly, I'm still in the testing phase. Beach City's my first jump. So far, it's gone… better than expected, I guess. But eventually, I'll have to set my sights on something bigger."
Ronaldo's grin stretched ear to ear. "Well, when you do, let me know. Because I definitely want in on whatever's next." Ronald pointed to himself.
I raised my paper cup in a casual toast, my lips curving into a smile. "To crazy adventures… and even crazier fries."
He tapped his soda against mine with a playful grin. "To the multiverse, dude."
And in that moment—amid the gentle crash of waves and the hiss of fry oil—I realized I'd just found my first real ally in this new world.

Writer here
Ronaldo in the series is a bit of an asshole but here he is just a dude who is just trying to find a purpose in life and he wants to be more than just a normal guy.
Don't worry this world is just a test world, the next chapter will be berry experimenting with this world and discovering the rules of world traveling. Ronaldo might or might not now be an ally for berry to talk to when he is out of ideas, basically his chair man if he needs it and he will revisit this world eventually.
Give me a list of worlds you would like me to travel to. I will edit this chapter ;ater and make another chapter in a few days since I have a ton of collage work due this week.
