Dungeon Trap and an Unexpected Partnership

Visual: Park Min-Ho, still bewildered by recent events, wanders aimlessly through the forest. The fog thickens around him, and the trees become increasingly grotesque and ominous.

— Well, hero, where are you headed? - the System's mocking voice echoes in his head.

— I... I don't know, — admits Park Min-Ho. — Just walking wherever my eyes lead me.

— Excellent plan, — the System chuckles. — Especially for a worthless piece of trash like you. I'm sure you'll die in some ditch very soon.

— Thanks for the support, — grumbles Park Min-Ho. — Always so encouraging.

— You're welcome, — replies the System. — Anytime.

Park Min-Ho continues walking, trying to ignore the System's taunts. He still can't believe what happened. A talking refrigerator that saved him from death... Han So-Yoon, who turned out to be a treacherous betrayer... What is going on in this world?

Suddenly, the ground beneath Park Min-Ho's feet gives way. He falls into a dark pit with a scream, not even having time to understand what happened.

— Congratulations, idiot, — the System's voice rings out. — You've fallen into a trap. A dungeon trap, to be precise.

— What? — Park Min-Ho, having painfully hit the ground, tries to get up. — What trap?

— A regular one, — answers the System. — A dungeon that lures in unwary travelers and then slams shut. And, apparently, you've become its latest victim.

— And what should I do now? — asks Park Min-Ho, looking around. He's in a small cave, the walls of which are covered with shimmering runes. There's no exit in sight.

— What do you think? - the System says, surprised. — Wait for death, of course. You're a good-for-nothing weakling. It's unlikely you'll get out of here alive.

— Very funny, — retorts Park Min-Ho. — Maybe you could help me, after all?

— And what's the point? - the System shrugs. — You're going to die soon anyway. So why waste time and resources on you?

— Please! — pleaded Park Min-Ho. — I don't want to die!

— Alright, fine, — the System reluctantly agrees. — I'll give you one chance. See that rune on the wall?

Park Min-Ho turns his gaze to the wall and sees a shimmering rune that stands out among the others.

— Yes, I see it, — he replies.

— That's the activation rune, — explains the System. — If you can activate it, the trap will open. But be aware, you only have one try. If you make a mistake, the trap will kill you on the spot.

— But how do I activate it? — asks Park Min-Ho.

— That's your problem, — replies the System. — Think, worthless. Or die.

Park Min-Ho approaches the wall and carefully examines the rune. He has no idea how to activate it. He has never studied runes and has no magical abilities.

— So, hero, any ideas? - the System asks, barely suppressing a laugh.

— Not yet, — Park Min-Ho admits honestly. — But I'll think of something.

— I highly doubt it, — the System chuckles. — But go ahead, give it a try. Time is ticking.

Park Min-Ho continues to examine the rune, trying to find any kind of clue. He runs his finger over it, presses it, tries to scratch it - all to no avail.

— So, are you giving up? - the System asks. — Or should I start preparing your obituary?

— No, I won't give up! — Park Min-Ho replies stubbornly. — I'll find a way!

Suddenly, he notices that the rune is pulsating in time with his heartbeat. He places his palm on it and feels the rune's energy responding to his own.

— Wow, you're not as simple as you seem, — the System says, surprised. — It seems you've found a connection.

— Do you think it will work? — asks Park Min-Ho hopefully.

— I don't know, — replies the System. — But it's worth a try. Just remember, if you make a mistake...

— I know, I know, — interrupts Park Min-Ho. — I'll be careful.

He closes his eyes, concentrates, and channels all his energy into the rune. The rune flares up with a bright light, and the cave trembles.

— Congratulations, idiot, — the System's voice rings out. — You've activated the trap. Now get ready for...

Suddenly, the floor of the cave disappears, and Park Min-Ho falls down again.

— ...a fall into the unknown, — finishes the System.

Park Min-Ho falls through the darkness, not knowing what awaits him below. He prepares for the worst, but deep down, he hopes that he will somehow survive.

— So, hero, how's the flight? - the System asks, breaking the silence.

— Shut up, — retorts Park Min-Ho.

Suddenly, he lands on something soft and springy. The fall wasn't as painful as he expected.

— What was that? — asks Park Min-Ho, getting to his feet.

— It seems you landed on a giant mushroom trampoline, — answers the System. — Quite a rare thing, I must say.

Park Min-Ho looks around. He is in a huge cave filled with giant mushrooms of various shapes and colors. In the center of the cave rises a huge mushroom trampoline, on which he landed.

— And what should I do now? — asks Park Min-Ho.

— First, get off the mushroom, — advises the System. — And then... then we'll improvise.

Park Min-Ho carefully gets off the mushroom trampoline and looks around. Suddenly, from behind one of the giant mushrooms emerges... Refrigerator-sama.

— You?! — exclaims Park Min-Ho in surprise.

— You again, worthless? - the refrigerator grumbles. — And how did you end up here?

— I... I fell, — replies Park Min-Ho.

— I can see you didn't come here on your own, — Refrigerator-sama chuckles. — Alright, whatever. We'll get out of here together.

— Together? — Park Min-Ho is surprised.

— You got a problem with that? - asks the refrigerator. — Or do you want to die here alone?

— No, of course not! — Park Min-Ho replies hastily. — I'd be glad to have company.

— That's the spirit, - says Refrigerator-sama. — Then let's go. Just don't fall behind.
