Chapter 39: After math1

The engagement party have turned Into Rachel and Anthony's secret exposé. What was supposed to force Ariana into marriage with Anthony so that after 3month he will just find an unreasonable issue to use to divorce Ariana after he has collected her shares had turn into his own humiliation.

Rachel was being rushed by Anthony to the hospital in his car.

Rachel noticed she wasn't within the hall again, she felt relaxed. She was still thinking of how she will tell Anthony it was just a joke when the car stopped moving.

The hall was not far to the hospital the old woman Ariana saved was staying. Not long after Anthony's car stopped a taxi also came to stop beside the car preventing Anthony from opening his door fully. He was not in a good mood already and nowhere to lash out on. The taxi driver became his scapegoat.

"Are you blind!, can't you park well! " he lashes out from his car.

"Am sorry sir," the taxi driver tried to beg since he was at fault.

"What do you mean you are sorry! If everything can end with sorry why is there police and laws!"

"I don't know why government are not checking people before letting them drive on the road, just look at this!" He came out and slam the door forgetting about the fainted Rachel.

Rachel bit her lips when she saw him behave this way, if she truly fainted with the way he jammed the door and the force that followed if she didn't have concussion she may even loose her baby.

"Idiot" she muttered.

As the taxi driver was begging the people on the passenger as it came out. It turned out to be Victoria and the old woman Ariana saved Linda Martins.

"What all this commotion about?" She jammed the door as she came out.

Victoria moved closer the her ear when the driver was about to explain and whispered "isn't that the man that tried to steal your future daughter in law?"

They saw everything that happened including the video of Rachel and Anthony and they knew it because of Rachel that Anthony came to the hospital.

Linda Martins expression change. "Ohh, isn't the sheep that feed on shit instead of the sweet grass a lot of other animals are looking for?. Thanks to you focusing on your shit the sweet grass will find another better owner!"

Victoria and Anthony including the driver was looking at her.

There was only one thing in their head. "What is this woman trying to say?"

Seeing the way everybody was looking at her, she coughed "you better take care of the shit in your car before it starts smelling"

It was only then Victoria understands what she was trying to say. She giggled and decided to play along "maybe the smell was so bad that he didn't even know how to park well."

Anthony was about to lash out again. "WTF are these people saying..." when he looked at where he parked and noticed he Parked within two parking spots and it was because of his anger he didn't bother checking and took his anger out on the driver.

Seeing he was the one at fault, he was about to leave has the humiliation was too much when Victoria spoke." I thought someone was about to die but it look it was just a prank to avoid their own shame."

His face turn green, already regretting why he was with Rachel. The reason he loved Rachel more than Ariana was because Ariana was too conservative and Rachel was the opposite. She knows how to calm him down too but That doesn't mean he will take it if someone ruined his plan.

He still didn't know how his sister got her hand on Ariana marriage certificate before everything happened and he even declared Rachel has his new fiance. Just thinking of this just want him to bury himself inside the ground especially now that he knows the two woman knows what happened at the wedding.

He wanted to drive away but remembering Rachel was still fainted in his car. He left them and rushed Rachel into the hospital. He could hear their laughter from behind as he quicken up his space.

"That feels good, too bad Ariana is already taken. I would have taken her has my daughter in law." Linda Martins spoke sadly.

"Sorry about that, you will find a more better inlaw" Victoria tried to cheer her up even though she was still shocked about the wedding especially her brother's name that was on the marriage certificate.

After she took Linda Martins to her room she called her brother "how come you are married amd nobody at home knows about it or is it only me! Wait minute! Isn't Grandpa the one rushing you to get married, don't tell me you came back because of it!!"

On the other end of the phone Jesse just listened to how she asked and Answered her own question.

"Does she know about you?" Victoria asked after rambling for a long time.

"Yes" came his short reply.

"OMG and did she agree?" She asked again.

"Don't you have anything to do?" he asked her.

Victoria giggled. "You must have forced her right, I was wondering why will that beautiful Angel fall for you but now I know."

Before Jesse could talk Back "I have an emergency now big bro wile will talk later."

Beep beep beep. The call has ended.

Jesse was looking at his phone screen for a while before saying " check what she is up to"

Lincoln was about to go but he doesn't know if it younger madam or future madam he was asked to check up on.

He waited and asked. "Hmmm, sir is it younger madam or future madam Should I check up on?"

Jesse looked up, his eyes so cold that Lincoln was already shaking, he then looked down and replied "the latter."

Jesse wanted to talked again but seeing him looking down. He bow down and left fearfully.
