Chapter 6: Arrival at the Holy Land of Beginning
The massive spiritual gate shimmered with an ethereal glow as Han Ye, Luo Xin, and Luo Jin stepped through it. The moment they crossed, they felt a wave of dense spiritual energy washing over them.
Han Ye's eyes widened slightly.
The Holy Land of Beginning truly deserved its reputation.
Compared to the outside world, the spiritual qi here was at least ten times richer. Just breathing the air made his body feel lighter, and his cultivation foundation felt like it was subtly improving.
Luo Xin and Luo Jin also sensed the change. They exchanged glances, their eyes filled with excitement.
"This place is incredible," Luo Jin whispered.
Luo Xin nodded. "No wonder people fight so hard to enter. Just cultivating here for a year is worth ten years outside."
Han Ye agreed silently. The environment alone was a massive advantage. If he trained here with his Supreme Dao Companion System, his growth would be unparalleled.
But first—
They had to go through the outer disciple registration process.
---
The Outer Disciple Hall
After stepping through the gate, Han Ye and the other new disciples arrived at a vast, open courtyard. Several towering pagodas and ornate buildings surrounded them, exuding an ancient and majestic aura.
At the center of the courtyard stood a grand hall with the words "Outer Disciple Hall" engraved in golden characters.
Elder Mo led them inside.
"The Holy Land of Beginning is divided into three levels of disciples," Elder Mo explained.
1. Outer Disciples – The lowest rank, responsible for menial tasks but given access to basic cultivation resources.
2. Inner Disciples – Those who prove their worth and earn better resources, housing, and personal training.
3. Core Disciples – The elite geniuses, personally trained by elders, given supreme cultivation techniques, and considered future leaders.
"As new outer disciples, your journey starts here," Elder Mo continued. "Follow the rules, train diligently, and you may rise in ranks."
Han Ye listened carefully. The higher his status, the more resources he could obtain.
He glanced at Luo Xin and Luo Jin. They both shared his thoughts.
Elder Mo waved his hand, and several jade identity tokens floated toward them.
"These are your disciple badges," he said. "They contain your name, contribution points, and sect status."
Han Ye grabbed his and examined it.
[Han Ye – Outer Disciple – 10 Contribution Points]
Contribution points were the sect's currency, earned through tasks, missions, or achievements. They could be exchanged for cultivation resources, techniques, and treasures.
"You will be assigned to the Outer Disciple Peak," Elder Mo continued. "Each of you will have a basic residence. However, if you wish for better accommodations, you must earn it."
The disciples nodded in understanding.
Then, Elder Mo's expression turned serious.
"One last thing," he said. "Although you have passed the entrance trials, remember this—strength determines everything."
His gaze swept over them.
"Outer disciples can challenge each other for ranking, resources, and even residences. If you are weak, you will be trampled on."
His words sent chills down the spines of many disciples.
Han Ye, however, smirked. This was exactly the kind of world he expected.
Luo Xin and Luo Jin also remained calm. They had already prepared for this reality.
Elder Mo waved his hand. "You are dismissed. Settle into your quarters. Training begins tomorrow."
With that, the disciples left the hall to find their residences.
---
The Outer Disciple Quarters
The Outer Disciple Peak was an expansive mountain filled with stone houses, training fields, and meditation areas.
As new disciples, Han Ye, Luo Xin, and Luo Jin were given modest stone houses near the lower part of the peak.
Han Ye inspected his residence. It was simple—a bed, a wooden table, and a small cultivation area.
"Not bad," he muttered.
Luo Xin and Luo Jin's quarters were nearby, and they quickly settled in.
After a moment, Luo Xin knocked on his door.
"Shall we explore?" she asked.
Han Ye nodded. "Let's go."
---
Exploring the Sect – First Conflict
As they walked through the outer disciple area, they noticed several training arenas where disciples sparred, testing their strength.
However, as they passed by, they suddenly heard a commotion.
"You dare take my residence?! Know your place, trash!"
BANG!
A figure was sent flying, coughing blood as he crashed onto the ground.
Han Ye and his wives turned to see the source of the disturbance.
A muscular young man stood in the center of the training ground, his arms crossed. His nameplate read:
[Zhao Feng – Outer Disciple Rank 89]
Han Ye's eyes flickered. So the outer disciples had rankings.
"Anyone who wants a better residence must fight for it!" Zhao Feng declared. "That's the rule of the sect!"
The injured disciple on the ground clenched his fists but couldn't refute.
Han Ye's lips curled into a smirk.
"Interesting."
Zhao Feng noticed their presence and sneered. "Hmph. More new disciples? You all better remember—this isn't your noble family's mansion. Here, only strength matters."
He pointed at Han Ye. "Especially you, Divine Spirit Root or not. If you're weak, you're nothing."
Han Ye chuckled. "Is that so?"
Zhao Feng frowned. "What? You want to challenge me?"
The surrounding disciples murmured.
"Han Ye just joined today… is he crazy?"
"Zhao Feng is a Spirit Sea Realm, Level 5 cultivator!"
But Han Ye wasn't worried.
If he wanted to establish dominance, he needed to act now.
"Let's fight."
Zhao Feng's eyes glowed with excitement. "Good! I'll teach you a lesson, newbie."
---
Han Ye vs. Zhao Feng
The two stepped onto the training platform, drawing a large crowd.
"Ready?" Zhao Feng asked.
Han Ye simply nodded.
"BEGIN!"
BOOM!
Zhao Feng lunged forward, his fists glowing with earth-element spiritual energy. He aimed a devastating punch at Han Ye's chest.
However—
Han Ye didn't move.
He simply raised a single finger and tapped the air in front of him.
BANG!
A powerful shockwave exploded outward, sending Zhao Feng flying backward.
The crowd gasped.
"What?! One move?!"
Zhao Feng coughed blood, struggling to get up. "You—"
But Han Ye had already appeared beside him.
He gently placed a foot on Zhao Feng's chest.
"Let me correct you," Han Ye said calmly. "Strength matters, yes. But some people… are just born superior."
With that, he kicked Zhao Feng off the platform.
The entire training ground fell into silence.
Zhao Feng, an Outer Disciple Rank 89, had been defeated in one move.
Luo Xin and Luo Jin smiled. Their husband was now making his mark.
The watching disciples began whispering.
"Han Ye… might be a monster."
Han Ye simply stepped off the stage and turned toward Luo Xin and Luo Jin.
"Let's go," he said. "We have better things to do."
With this victory, Han Ye had officially announced his presence.
And this was only the beginning.
