Chapter 14: Becoming the Peak Master's Disciple & Meeting the Elders
---
After the announcement of Han Ye as the First Disciple of Soaring Blade Peak in 1,000 years, the entire peak was in an uproar.
The news spread like wildfire throughout the Holy Land of Beginning.
Many disciples couldn't believe it—how could an unknown newcomer surpass countless sword geniuses?
Inside the Grand Hall of Soaring Blade Peak, Han Ye stood before the Peak Master, Jian Wushuang.
Jian Wushuang was an elderly man with silver hair, but his eyes shone with the sharpness of an unsheathed sword. His presence alone felt like a towering mountain of sword intent.
He gazed at Han Ye with deep interest.
"Young man, do you know what it means to be the First Disciple of Soaring Blade Peak?"
Han Ye took a deep breath and cupped his fists. "I am willing to take on the responsibilities, Peak Master."
Jian Wushuang smiled. "Good."
Then—
BOOM!
An overwhelming Sword Intent erupted from his body, causing the entire peak to tremble. Even the disciples standing outside the hall felt their swords vibrate in their sheaths.
Han Ye's clothes fluttered wildly, but he remained steady.
Jian Wushuang nodded approvingly.
"Your foundation is strong. From today onward, I officially accept you as my personal disciple."
Gasps echoed through the hall!
The Peak Master of Soaring Blade Peak, one of the top ten powerhouses of the Holy Land, had only taken two disciples in the past 300 years—both of whom became legendary swordmasters.
Now, he had taken a third disciple!
Elder Jian Chen, who had overseen the Sword Peak Trial, stepped forward. "Junior Brother Han Ye, from now on, you will be learning directly under the Peak Master. You must not bring shame to the Soaring Blade Peak."
Han Ye nodded solemnly. "I will not disappoint."
Jian Wushuang waved his hand. "Come with me. It's time you meet the elders and disciples of our peak."

Meeting the Peak Elders
Han Ye followed Jian Wushuang into the Inner Hall, where the peak elders were gathered.
Each elder had their own unique sword aura, and all of them were Martial Venerate Realm powerhouses.
Jian Wushuang introduced them one by one.
Elder Jian Chen – The Head Elder in charge of teaching sword techniques. His Thunder Blade Swordsmanship was famous throughout the Holy Land.
Elder Bai Yun – The Second Elder, an expert in dual-wielding swords and footwork techniques.
Elder Lin Wu – The Third Elder, known for his sword formations and array mastery.
Elder Feng Tao – The Fourth Elder, specializing in defensive sword arts and body tempering techniques.
Elder Xue Qing – The Fifth Elder, the only female elder, known for her elegant but deadly sword techniques.
Elder Jian Chen smiled. "Han Ye, you may be the Peak Master's disciple, but you will also be learning from all of us."
Elder Bai Yun laughed. "Since you're our First Disciple, you have a lot of responsibility. But don't worry, we will guide you well."
Han Ye bowed respectfully. "I will work hard to meet your expectations, elders."
Elder Xue Qing chuckled. "You're lucky to have such a good master. Many would kill for this position."
Jian Wushuang waved his hand. "Enough. Let's introduce him to the inner disciples."
---
Meeting the Inner Disciples
Outside the Grand Hall, hundreds of inner disciples had gathered to witness Han Ye's induction.
Among them were three major figures, the strongest disciples of Soaring Blade Peak:
Wu Tian – A sword genius ranked 5th in the Holy Land's Inner Disciple Rankings. He wielded the Storm Breaker Sword and was known for his explosive attacks.
Zhao Yan – A sword maiden ranked 9th in the rankings, famous for her Phantom Shadow Sword Technique.
Feng Rui – Ranked 12th, his Piercing Moon Sword Style was known for its precision and deadly strikes.
Wu Tian stepped forward, his eyes filled with battle intent. "Han Ye, I hope you don't think being the Peak Master's disciple means you can slack off."
Zhao Yan smirked. "A newcomer becoming the First Disciple… I hope you're strong enough to deserve that title."
Han Ye could feel the pressure from the inner disciples. Many were dissatisfied with his sudden rise.
Jian Wushuang sensed the tension and said, "Since some of you doubt Han Ye's qualifications, let's do this—"
His voice boomed across the peak.
"Seven days from now, Han Ye will face the Sword Peak Disciples in a challenge! If he wins, no one shall question his position!"
The disciples erupted in excitement!
A battle between the new First Disciple and the elite sword geniuses of the peak?!
Wu Tian grinned. "Good. I look forward to it."
Zhao Yan licked her lips. "This will be interesting."
Han Ye clenched his fists.
He knew what this was—
A trial by fire.
If he wanted to truly establish himself, he had to prove his strength before all of Soaring Blade Peak!

After the Ceremony – A Night of Comfort
Later that evening, back at his courtyard, Han Ye sat quietly, lost in thought.
Just then, two delicate arms wrapped around his shoulders from behind.
"Husband, are you worried?"
It was Luo Xin, her soft voice filled with warmth.
Beside her, Luo Jin placed a gentle hand on his chest. "We believe in you, Han Ye."
Han Ye smiled, pulling them both into his embrace.
Their warmth calmed his heart.
"No matter what, I will rise to the top."
Luo Xin and Luo Jin exchanged a glance before nodding.
They had no doubt—
Their husband was destined to become a legend.
That night, under the moonlit sky, the three spent a night of love and passion, strengthening their bond before the storm ahead.
