Chapter 22: Return and New Bonds

Reporting to the Master

After the intense battle in the Azure Rift Valley, Han Ye and Lan Yue returned to the Holy Land of Beginning without delay. The weight of the dark presence they had encountered still lingered in Han Ye's mind, and he knew he needed to report everything to his master.

Upon arriving at Soaring Blade Peak, Han Ye made his way to the Grand Hall, where Peak Master Jian Wushuang awaited him.

Jian Wushuang's sharp eyes scanned Han Ye before nodding in approval. "You've returned safely. Tell me everything."

Han Ye bowed slightly before recounting the events of the mission—the strange disturbances, the lurking demonic presence, and the battle that had tested his limits. He detailed how the entity possessed immense power, hinting at an even greater force moving in the shadows.

Jian Wushuang remained silent for a moment before speaking. "This matter is more dangerous than I anticipated. The demonic aura you described… it is not something that should exist in this region. I will report this to the Sect Master."

Han Ye nodded. "I will continue to prepare myself. If this darkness threatens our Holy Land, I will not stand idly by."

Jian Wushuang smirked. "Good. That is the resolve of a true disciple."

Returning to His Wives

Upon returning to his courtyard, Han Ye was greeted by Luo Xin and Luo Jin, their eyes lighting up at the sight of him. But before he could embrace them, Lan Yue stepped forward, offering a graceful bow.

"Sisters, it is an honor to meet you," she said sincerely. "Han Ye has spoken of you both."

Luo Xin's warm smile was tinged with curiosity, while Luo Jin raised an eyebrow playfully. "Oh? And what exactly did he say?"

Lan Yue's cheeks turned slightly pink. "That you are both strong, intelligent, and… very important to him."

Luo Xin chuckled, stepping closer. "And you, little sister? It seems our husband has brought home another treasure."

Han Ye could sense a playful tension in the air, and before he could speak, Luo Jin linked arms with Lan Yue. "Come, let's have a private chat, just us wives."

Lan Yue hesitated, glancing at Han Ye for reassurance. He gave her a small nod, though he suddenly felt a strange sense of foreboding.

The three women disappeared into the inner chambers, leaving Han Ye standing alone in the courtyard.

"…I feel like I've just been left out of my own house," he muttered.

Inside the Room – A Sisterly Bond

Inside, Lan Yue sat nervously while Luo Xin and Luo Jin observed her closely.

"So, how did our dear husband 'convince' you to join us?" Luo Jin teased.

Lan Yue twiddled her fingers. "It… it wasn't like that. He saved my sect, and I willingly followed him."

Luo Xin smiled, her eyes softening. "We're just teasing. Han Ye is a good man, and if he chose you, then you must be special."

Lan Yue blinked, surprised at their acceptance. "You don't… mind?"

Luo Jin sighed dramatically. "Of course we mind! Do you know how hard it is to get his attention when he's always off fighting or training?"

Lan Yue giggled, relaxing for the first time. The three women continued talking, and by the time they emerged, they had formed an unspoken bond.

Han Ye, still waiting outside, raised an eyebrow. "Finished conspiring against me?"

Luo Xin smirked. "Oh, we were just setting some rules."

Han Ye felt a chill down his spine. "Rules…?"

Lan Yue giggled. "Don't worry, husband. We will take good care of you."

Han Ye suddenly wasn't sure if he should be relieved or worried.

He sighed and sat down in the courtyard,
