"Unfortunately, we can't wait any longer. I have a meeting to attend, so you can send it to my house later."

"Okay, sir. Please provide the address and number to reach you," Leon said as he pulled out a notebook and began noting down the details.

After that, the Frost family left just as quickly as they had come. The encounter had awakened Leon to a whole new side of this world that he hadn't known about.

One that would keep him awake at night. However, he remained steady as he continued working to ensure he delivered as promised to his clients.

Taking short one-minute breaks between each guest to relax his mind and wrists, he made over $3,000 by the end of the day.

The actual price was way more than that, but he had split the money with Richard, as the young boy needed it much more than he did now.

He had over three years to prepare, but Richard had just a few months left before he would be sent off to be on his own.

"You boys have worked hard. Tomorrow, follow me—I'll take you both out," the nun said after they excitedly presented the cash they had earned to her.

From the start, Leon understood that while she was caring, he didn't trust her to keep the money, so he never planned to let her handle it for him.

"Really?" Leon and Richard asked, surprised by her words.

"Of course. You know, I've seen multiple kids come in and leave this place, some in your position, but they had nothing to rely on after they left. You two are my golden eggs to change this place," she replied as she rubbed their heads.

The proud tone in her voice was unmistakable, so Leon accepted that she truly meant what she said.

It seemed she wanted to use them as examples of a successful transition from orphan to functional adult.

After their small celebration, everyone retired to their rooms for the night. Leon was no different, as he needed as much rest as he could get.

He was still a growing child, after all. However, no matter how long he lay there, sleep never came, as his mind kept wandering and his thoughts ran rampant.

Telepathy existed in this world, and from the looks of it, it was clear that it might not be the only superpower in existence.

This meant that this world had a whole side of people with superpowers, which meant his goal would need to be adjusted.

One couldn't lead a wealthy lifestyle without having any means of protecting themselves, which meant he had to figure out this world as quickly as possible to prepare.

The next day, Leon could be seen sitting in front of a well-dressed lady. She wore a suit, and on the desk between them were several papers.

"What about when I reach legal age? Do I have to come back here to upgrade the account, or is it done automatically?" Leon asked as he signed and wrote down his essentials on the document.

"It's usually done automatically, but you can come to the bank for a full upgrade if you wish," the lady replied with a professional smile.

"Okay, then. Here is my deposit," Leon said before passing his money to the lady.

Yes, this was the minor trip the nun had taken them on. Early in the morning, she had woken them up and brought them straight to the nearest bank to open teen accounts for them.

"Wow, you must have worked hard for this amount," the lady said as she turned to the nun.

"He's an artist. They pay him for portraits and things like that," the nun clarified, pulling out her phone to show the lady the image of her own painting.

"…And talented as well," she added as she turned to Leon.
