*Eri Looks around, noting the
lengthening shadows. She yawns
softly*
Eri: It's getting late, huh?
Lucian: Yeah..
*Eri Puts her arms over her head,
stretching her back with a small
grunt and she sighs in exhaustion*
Eri: I should probably be getting home
soon...
*Eri Looks at you, feeling a small pang
of sadness at leaving*
Eri: Can I...see you again sometime?
Lucian: Yeah..
*Eri Hugs you tightly, not wanting to let
go*
Eri: Okay...I"Il see you again soon then,
right? Promise?
*I hug her back*
Lucian: I promise...
*Eri Lets go after a long moment, still
not wanting to leave but knowing she
had to. She sighs, and pushes herself
up from the ground, brushing the
dirt off her clothes*
Eri: I..guess IIl see you again
sometime...bye...
Lucian: yeah see you sometimes... bye... Eri...
*Eri Waves, and starts to walk away.
After a few steps, she turns back
around one last time, and look at
you, sitting there all alone, before
finally turning and walking away,
her head hanging low*
*As she walk home, a feeling of
loneliness washes over her, despite
the promise to see you again soon.
She keeps her head down, her thoughts
consumed by the events of the day,
and the strange, yet comforting
presence she had found in Lucian...*
*Eri Arrives at her house, and she pushes open the door, stepping into
the familiar but cold and empty
dwelling, the stark contrast
between the warmth of time she spent
with you and the coldness of my
home making her shiver.*
*Eri Quietly pads up to her room,
closing the door behind me and
sinking down onto her bed, hugging
her knees to her chest and trying
without much success to stop the
flood of emotion that's threatening
to overwhelm her.*
*Eri Lays there for a long time, staring
at the ceiling, my mind replaying
the day over and over again, trying
to make sense of the emotions and the strange sense of comfort and safety you had brought her*
*Eventually, exhaustion sets in, and
her eyelids grow heavy. she curls up
under the covers, clutching a small
stuffed animal, and slowly drift off
to sleep, desperately hoping that she'll
get to see you again soon.*
*Hours pass, and the soft glow of
daylight starts to filter in through
my window, slowly rousing her
from sleep. she rolls over, burying her
face into the pillow, and she just lays
there, not wanting to face the world
just yet.*
*After a while, I finally sit up,
scrubbing the sleep from her eyes
and reluctantly getting out of bed.
For a moment, she just stood there,
feeling oddly empty, like something
important is missing.*
*Eri Puts on her clothes without much
enthusiasm, moving on autopilot
as she starts her day. her thoughts keep wandering back to you, the comfort and warmth you had given her and the sense of loneliness that has settled in her chest*
*Eri gets ready for school, packing her
bag and grabbing her lunch from
the fridge, the routine tasks feeling
more like a chore than usual. her
mind keeps drifting, and she finds
herself spacing out, lost in her
thoughts.*
*She leaves the house, making her way
towards school, the familiar streets
feeling strangely foreign. Every
step feels like a struggle, and she
find herself wishing that you, her
unexpected companion, were there
with her.*
