Chapter 4: Seeds of Rebellion

Nyx started small, contacting isolated groups of Daimonas survivors. He did not initially divulge his total plan but provided security and the possibility of having his life returned. He put his developing abilities and all the things he put away, to construct shelters (bunkers) and hidden camps, where he would get stronger and recover.

His reputation began to gain momentum, through the gossip and hearsay. Indeed, the child of Azrael was back, they declared and he was assembling his armies. Hope, a repressed and strong emotion, rekindled in the hearts of the quarantined survivors.

As his number of followers grew, so did Nyx's willingness to reveal his plan. He explained. revenge, about retribution, about getting back what they had missed. He did not shy away from the cost, he explained to them that the road to come will be hard, tough and a sacrifice to pay. On the other hand, he stated to them that, at the end, the victory will be theirs.

His/their words touched them and unleashed a flame in their hearts. They were tired of being hidden, tired of hiding. They were ready to fight.

The activities of Nyx were, however, not lost on the Ouranios Alliance. Some rumor of a spreading rebellion came to their ears, but they blamed it for being trivial, these pathetically desperate actions of a few fragmented survivors. They dismissed Nyx, dismissed the force of his spite, and dismissed the fear that preyed in the wake of the nether regions.

The individual history of rebellion was primed and ready as was the turn of Nyx, son of Azrael, reaping the consequences.
