Mientras Kakashi observaba la pelea entre Naruto y Sasuke, Edward seguía confundido sobre cómo había acabado en el cuerpo de Obito. Su mente no dejaba de dar vueltas, preguntándose qué haría de ahora en adelante. 

—¿Qué demonios hago ahora? Lo más probable es que, como Sasuke, acabe en prisión. Qué estúpido... Tendré que aceptar los pecados de Obito, pero no tengo otra opción. No volveré a morir. 

Con un suspiro, Edward se levantó de la roca donde estaba sentado y activó su Sharingan. Una extraña sensación lo invadió al sentir el poder de esos ojos. 

—Esos ojos... Aún me llevará un tiempo acostumbrarme a ellos, pero con el tiempo los dominaré a la perfección. 

Con los recuerdos y el conocimiento de Obito, Edward sabía que tenía el potencial de convertirse en una de las personas más poderosas del mundo, junto con Naruto y Sasuke. Por supuesto, sin olvidar a los Otsutsuki, quienes siempre representaban una amenaza latente. 

Mientras Edward reflexionaba, Kakashi y Sakura se acercaron a Naruto y Sasuke, quienes estaban tirados en el suelo, exhaustos y sin un brazo a cada uno. 

—¿Terminaron? Estaba tan absorto en mis pensamientos que ni siquiera me di cuenta de la pelea. Aunque no duró mucho... Espero que Sasuke no me guarde mucho rencor después de todo lo que Obito le hizo. 

Caminando lentamente hacia donde estaban Kakashi y los demás, Edward se detuvo frente a Sasuke. Lo miró fijamente sin apartar la mirada y le extendió la mano en señal de reconciliación. 

—Sé que lo que hice es imperdonable, pero de verdad espero que podamos coexistir de ahora en adelante —dijo con sinceridad, aunque aún resonaban en su interior las dudas sobre si realmente era digno de perdón. 

Se hizo un silencio incómodo que pareció eterno. Finalmente, Sasuke tomó la mano de Edward y se levantó con dificultad. Lo miró directamente a los ojos; su expresión era difícil de descifrar. 

—Acepto tus disculpas —dijo Sasuke con frialdad—. Asimismo, te agradezco que nos hayas ayudado a derrotar a Kaguya. 

Edward asintió, sintiendo que un peso se le quitaba de encima. Sin perder tiempo, realizó una serie de sellos manuales, y de la nada, apareció un Zetsu blanco. 

—Naruto, Sasuke, gracias por aceptarme después de todo el mal que cometí. De verdad lo aprecio —dijo Edward mientras un chakra azul empezaba a envolver sus manos. 

Con movimientos rápidos y precisos, Edward extrajo los brazos del Zetsu blanco. 

—Seguro que estos brazos les serán útiles —dijo, ofreciéndoles las extremidades—. No es mucho, pero es lo menos que puedo hacer para compensar mis errores.

**Algún tiempo después** 

Tras la destrucción del Tsukuyomi Infinito por parte de Sasuke, el mundo comenzó a recuperarse lentamente. Sin embargo, la paz no duró mucho. Los líderes de las demás aldeas, conscientes de la participación de Obito y Sasuke en la guerra, exigieron una reunión de emergencia. 

In an improvised conference room, the Kage of the other villages gathered with Konoha's leaders. Gaara (Kazekage), A (Raikage), Mei (Mizukage), and Ōnoki (Tsuchikage) were present, along with Tsunade (Hokage of Konoha) and the previous Hokage: Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato. 

—We cannot allow Obito and Sasuke to remain free —A said firmly, slamming his fist on the table—. Both are war criminals and must be judged. 

—I agree —added Mei, crossing her arms—. Sasuke betrayed his village, and Obito caused countless deaths. We can't simply ignore their crimes. 

Gaara, though calmer, nodded. 

—I understand that they both helped defeat Kaguya, but that doesn't erase their past actions. Justice must be impartial. 

Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage, leaned forward, looking at Tsunade sternly. 

—Konoha cannot protect its criminals. If you don't act, the other villages will do it ourselves. 

Tsunade looked at the previous Hokage, seeking their opinion. Hashirama was the first to speak. 

—I'm sorry, but they're right. We cannot allow Obito and Sasuke to remain free. 

Minato, Naruto's father, lowered his gaze with sadness. 

—Obito was my student, but his actions were unforgivable. I have no choice but to support his arrest. 

Tobirama and Hiruzen nodded silently, confirming their support for the decision. 

Tsunade sighed, knowing she had no other choice. 

—Very well. Obito and Sasuke will be arrested and judged. 

Upon learning of the decision, Naruto exploded in protest. 

—This isn't fair! Obito and Sasuke helped us save the world! 

—Naruto, this is non-negotiable —Tsunade replied firmly—. The other villages are right. We can't ignore their crimes. 

Sasuke, for his part, showed no resistance. He knew his past actions had consequences, and he was willing to face them. 

—It doesn't matter —Sasuke said, looking at Naruto—. This is how it must be. 

Obito, however, wasn't willing to give up so easily. 

—You can't do this to me —he muttered, but before he could act, the Kage surrounded him. 

With quick and precise movements, they sealed Obito and Sasuke's chakra, leaving them unable to use ninjutsu or genjutsu. 

—I'm sorry, Obito —Minato said with regret—. But this is necessary. 

In Konoha's prison, Obito and Sasuke were locked in separate cells. Their bodies were completely sealed, and their eyes covered with special bandages to prevent them from using the Sharingan or Rinnegan. 

Obito leaned against the wall of his cell, feeling a mix of frustration and determination. 

Meanwhile, Sasuke meditated in silence, accepting his fate but not losing hope that, someday, he might find a way to redeem himself. 

Outside the prison, Naruto looked at the building with an expression of frustration and sadness. 

—This isn't right —he muttered—. I can't let it end like this. 

Kakashi, who had observed everything in silence, approached Naruto. 

—Sometimes, justice isn't fair —he said with a sigh—. But don't lose hope. Things can change. 

Naruto asintió, aunque su determinación no vaciló. 

—Pase lo que pase, no los abandonaré.
