Chapter 19

Until I decided to pull my hands from them and walk away. I heard them follow. I felt my knees shaking as my feet stepped on those soft carpets of the yacht towards the table. Elise accompanied me. When I reached the table, the two raced to which chair I wanted to sit on; they pulled, but I chose to sit on Elise's chair; she pulled for me. A perfect wave hit the yacht, and they both held me and slowly sat on each chair they pulled.

In between them, Florence was on my right side while her sister was on my left. I was tempted to hold Florence's hands to make me feel safe, but I prefer not to create a scene or a war between the food being delicious and the evening being calm, so I want to be full of my stomach for the rest of my evening. Florence sensed me; I felt cold. She stood and turned at my back.
