Chapter 31

I woke up with less pain in my body, one of the reasons Franchesca is never giving up on me. She spoon-fed me last night; I wasn't able to feed myself because I was shaking in fever further. The result of the meal last night was so gloriously delicious.

Progressing to obtain me added my strength at the same time as recovering. I never thought Shades would come up with those kinds of dishes; that is so weird a mysterious woman can cook. Still redeeming every ounce of my being, I find that Franchesca is checking me every hour, walking across the room giving my medicines with glasses of water. Including those creams for my burned skin and several wounds, especially my marks as a fifth daughter, that one always gives me a shiver and a high fever. Added those nightmares, and the doors instantly opened up when she heard me screaming, nursing till the sun rises.

I started to be curious: why didn't she stay in the cabin room? Since it was her room in the first place.
