"How dare you," Ace said, his deep voice low and menacing, as he walked closer to Marcel and squatted down in front of him. He grabbed Marcel's collar and punched him repeatedly in the face.
Aria, who had been freed from Marcel's grasp, wiped her mouth harshly, trying to remove the feeling of Marcel's lips on hers. She wanted to erase the memory of the kiss entirely. As she came back to her senses, she watched in horror as Ace punched Marcel ruthlessly, his face bleeding.
"Ace, stop it! Can't you see he's bleeding?" Aria cried, rushing to Ace's side and grabbing his hand.
Ace turned to her, his eyes cold and hard. "Aria, go back to your class."
Aria was taken aback by the tone he used. He had never spoken to her like that before.
"No, I'm not going anywhere," Aria replied, standing her ground.
Ace's expression softened slightly. "Aria, I don't want you to get implicated in this. Please, just go back to your class."
