"My grandson, you really grew up. First, look at you, all grown up," Carrel said, looking at her grandson lovingly as they headed to the dining room after chatting in the room earlier.

Now in the living room, Mr. Alexander sat waiting for his son, mother, and father to arrive so they could have dinner together. It had been a long time since they last met, and he was excited.

"Mom, Dad," Mr. Alexander called as he stood up and walked to where they were meeting midway. He embraced his mother and then his father.

"Oh, my son Alexander, how have you been?" Carrel asked as she hugged her son.

"I'm well, Mom," Alexander said.

"How are you doing, and how is my daughter-in-law?" his mother asked.

"She's okay, Mom," Alexander said, but before he could add something, Ace chimed in.

"She's sending her greetings to you, beautiful Granny," Ace said, and Carrel smiled.
