Stephen Suspected Charles

On her way back to class, Chloe encountered a boy. He was busy with his phone and accidentally bumped into her. Chloe silently gathered her scattered books, and the boy helped. They looked at each other, eye to eye. The boy was captivated by her beauty, and they stared at each other for a moment. Chloe then looked away and said, "Thank you."

As they both stood up, the boy smiled and said, "Hey, I'm Alexander. It's nice to meet you."

"Umm, I'm Chloe. It's nice to meet you too," she replied, and they shook hands.

"Umm, I'm a third-year student. And you?" Alexander asked.

"I'm a second-year student," Chloe answered.

"Wow, that's great." He gazed at her for a moment and then said, "I know I don't have the right to say this, but you're beautiful."

"Thank you," Chloe replied, smiling and touching her hair.

"I've never seen such a beautiful girl like you," he said, still smiling. Chloe continued to smile.

"Umm, where can I see you again?" Alexander asked.

"Umm, you'll see me at the swimming club," Chloe replied.

"Oh, you're a swimmer?" he asked, smiling.

"Yes," she answered, smiling.

"So, you're the girl everyone in my class was talking about?" Alexander asked.

"Wait, what?" Chloe responded.

"That's right. Everyone in my class was talking about you, saying that you swim fast, and you're so beautiful, and you always take first place in swimming."

"They said that?" Chloe asked.

"Yes. I didn't believe it. I thought it was just a rumor, but looking at you now tells me that you're even prettier than they say."

Chloe laughed and said, "Umm, I'm sorry for laughing, but I'm not pretty. Look at me. I'm not beautiful, okay?"

Alexander laughed and said, "Just tell me you're joking. I mean, look at yourself. You're a beautiful girl, and every man would want to be with you. What am I even saying? I'm already captivated by your beauty," he said, smiling.

"Oh my goodness, you're such a comedian," Chloe said.

"Am I?" Alexander asked.

"Of course," she replied, her expression changing slightly. "Umm, I really need to get going now."

"Umm, okay. See you at the swimming club," Alexander said.

"Alright, thank you," Chloe replied.

"You're welcome," he said.

As she walked away, Alexander said to himself, "Oh, she's just so beautiful and sweet." He then returned to what he was doing. "Oh, I lost my game. But it's for a good reason. Anything for her. She's just too pretty," he said.

Alexander went to meet his friends where they were sitting. "Hey, man, you showed up?" Mark, Alexander's friend, asked him. But Alexander was silent, staring at the glass. Mark noticed him staring and tapped him, asking, "What are you staring at?"

Alexander kept staring and said, "It's like the stars and the moon are staring at me. It's like I'm in paradise. She must be the second woman God created after Eve. Apparently, God must have had abundant time to create such an enchantingly beautiful goddess."

Mark was confused and looked around, but he couldn't see anyone.

"She's more beautiful than an enchanting goddess," Alexander continued.

Mark couldn't take it any longer and slapped him.

"What the f***? Why did you slap me?" Alexander shouted.

"Now you're in your right senses because you've been talking nonsense, Mark said.

"And you just spoiled my good mood," Alexander said.

"Mark observed Alexander for a moment and then said. "What were you thinking?

"Just forget it.

"Okay, I'm sorry that i slapped you. You know I tapped you thinking you'd pay attention to me, but you didn't. You started talking to yourself as if you were crazy, that's why I slapped you. I'm sorry, okay?"

"Whatever," Alexander replied.

"So, tell me, what were you thinking?"

"I don't want to tell you, but I will anyway," Alexander said.

"Okay.

"So, when I told you I was coming, I ran into Chloe."

"Who the f*** is Chloe?" Mark asked.

"She's the swimming girl you guys were talking about."

"What? You mean that goddess?" Mark asked.

"Not just a goddess, the prettiest goddess I've ever seen," Alexander said.

"Wow, man, you're hooked," Mark replied.

"And let me tell you what," Alexander continued. "We chatted."

"Woo..." Mark responded.

"She's such a sweet girl. Her smile was just everything," Alexander said, smiling.

"Holy secret identity, I wish I could see her," Mark said.

Alexander's expression changed. "See her as what? Guy, don't even go near her."

Mark looked at him, confused. "I don't understand. I just want to see her, that's all."

"Better not," Alexander warned. "And guess what?"

"What's that?" Mark asked.

"She invited me to come to her club," Alexander said, smiling.

"Wow, that's awesome! I'll go with you," Mark said.

Alexander's expression changed again. "And why do you want to go?"

"Guy, just calm down, okay?" Mark said. I just want to see the girl who enchanted my friend and made him go crazy."

"Alright," Alexander said.

They then left for their classes.

Chloe sat under their usual tree, staring ahead in thought. Tyler arrived and, seeing her motionless gaze, watched her for a moment before tapping her. Startled, Chloe exclaimed, "Oh, Tyler, you scared me!"

Tyler sat down and asked, "What were you thinking about? Did you meet a guy?" He smiled.

"No, I didn't," Chloe replied, smiling back.

"I can see it in your eyes," Tyler said, moving closer and jokingly trying to tickle her to make her talk.

"Alright," Chloe relented, smiling. A guy accidentally bumped into me."

"So what happened?" Tyler asked, still smiling.

"Nothing. He just bumped into me, that's all," Chloe said shyly.

"Nah," Tyler teased. "Was he cute?" He looked at her expectantly.

"Yes, he was cute, and calm…" Chloe began, but Stephen interrupted.

"And who is cute and calm?" Stephen asked.

"Stephen, you won't believe it," Tyler said. "A guy just bumped into Chloe."

"What? Did he hit you? Did he say anything awful to you? What happened?" Stephen asked, looking at her over anxiously.

"Oh, Stephen, nothing happened," Chloe assured him.

"If nothing happened, then why are you talking about him?" Stephen asked Chloe.

"Stephen, she said that the guy was cute and calm," Tyler explained.

"Wait, did you say that?" Stephen asked Chloe.

"Yes," Chloe admitted. "You should have seen him…" Stephen interrupted

"If he's cute or calm, is that the reason you're talking about him?" Stephen asked.

They both stared at him. Tyler then asked, "Wait, Stephen, are you jealous?"

Tyler was silent for a moment, then said, "Oh, you can't be jealous because you two aren't dating."

Stephen kept quiet, searching for something to say. Finally, he said, "Yeah, we're not dating. You're absolutely right." He looked at Chloe. "We're not dating."

Tyler looked at him and asked, "Stephen, are you okay?"

"Of course, I'm fine," Stephen replied. "We're not dating. I just forgot that we're not dating."

Chloe looked surprised. Tyler said, "Hey, buddy, this is Chloe, not Bonnie."

"Ohh, you're right. She's Chloe, not… umm, not Bonnie," Stephen stammered.

"I don't know what that girl has done to you that's making you mistake Chloe for Bonnie," Tyler said.

"Hey, man, nothing's happening to me. I'm just messing with you," Stephen said.

"But it's not funny," Chloe said.

"Tell me, are you scared?" Stephen asked Chloe.

"Of course not," Chloe replied.

"Is anyone hungry? Because right now I can feel my stomach growling," Tyler said.

"Same here," Chloe agreed.

"Alright, let's go find something to eat," Stephen said.

They left.
