AT THE SAME TIME
WANESSA'S POINT OF VIEW:
His hands were warm, warmer than they should have been after being so sick but steady as they cupped my face. His thumbs brushed softly against my cheeks, and my breath hitched at the tenderness in his touch. My heart pounded so loudly I could barely hear anything else.
"Xavier-"I started.
He didn't give me a chance to say anything else. His lips met mine in a slow, deep kiss that sent shivers down my spine. It wasn't rushed or desperate it was intentional, consuming. I froze for only a second before my body betrayed me.
"Mh-"I muffled between his kisses.
