AT THE SAME TIME
WANESSA'S POINT OF VIEW:
I sat there in the dimly lit room, my hands gripping the edges of the bed as I was thinking about everything. I could feel it in the air everything was changing. The Witch was coming, and soon. I wasn't prepared for this.
Wren was beside me, sitting near my side. It was like she understood everything I was feeling.
"What if I'm not enough?" I muttered, my voice shaky as I stared at the floor. "What if I fail? What if I'm just an extra part of all this, not really meant to be here?"
There was a soft, almost amused huff from her. I could feel the shift in the air as she leaned closer to me.
"You're not an extra, Wanessa. You're everything. You've always been more than you give yourself credit for." Wren said.
