WANESSA'S POINT OF VIEW:
The moment we stepped into Dunhaven, a heavy weight settled over my chest. The ruins of the old town loomed around us, silent yet filled with whispers of the past. Faint echoes of what once seemed to cling to the air, and the uneasy calm sent a shiver down my spine.
"As you continue, there are 4 hours left before sunrise. Proceed efficiently."System said.
I stiffened. Four hours. That wasn't much time. I glanced at the others, and judging by their tense expressions, they heard it too.
"Four hours…" I murmured, feeling the weight of it settle in my gut.
Xavier's jaw tightened.
"Then we better move fast." His voice was steady, but I could see the flicker of urgency in his eyes.
Terrence shifted beside Wren, his grip on her wrist tightening slightly.
"We find what we need and get out. No distractions."Terrence said.
Michael let out a slow breath.
