IN A MORNING
WANESSA'S POINT OF VIEW:
The morning of the wedding arrived, and with it came a flurry of preparatio
ns. The royal castle was buzzing with activity as attendants rushed to make sure everything was perfect. I could barely contain my excitement, and my nerves at the thought of everything that was about to happen. Wren would finally have her wedding, but more importantly, she would have a piece of her family with her, even if they couldn't physically be there.
I found her in her room, standing in front of the mirror, looking a bit lost. She hadn't changed much from the girl I first met, except now, there was a strength to her I hadn't seen before. Maybe it was the weight of her decision to stay here, to accept this world as her home, but there was something different about her now.
"Wren?" I said softly, stepping into the room. She looked over at me and gave me a weak smile.
"Hey." She replied, her voice quiet.
