The Omega Nobody Noticed

Suddenly, the familiar voice of the system echoed in my mind, breaking the silence. It seems that we have got a new task.

"New task assigned. Rebuild and fortify the Eldemere Kingdom. Strengthen the bonds between the royal families and stabilize the land. Rewards granted based on progress. Completion will unlock hidden secrets within the castle." System said.

I stopped in my tracks, staring blankly ahead.

"Wait, what?" I said aloud, more to myself than to anyone else. "Rebuild? We literally just saved this place."

Xavier, who had been walking beside me, slowed down as well.

"Did the system just say we need to rebuild the kingdom again?"Xavier asked.

Wren, who had been quiet up until now, looked just as perplexed.

"It's not just rebuilding the castle... It's about strengthening the kingdom, as if it's... fragile."Wren tried to explain it.
