I open my status and smile a little at my new status.
[Name: Jacob Helinuse Yurka]
[Title: Goblin Hunter]
[Class: Mage] [Level: 14 (65,90%)]
[Level: 10 (96,10%)]
==
[HP: 210/ 210]
[MP: 650 / 650]
==
[STR: 18]
[VIT: 21]
[DEX: 17]
[INT: 40 → 65]
[WIS: 40 → 65]
[LCK: 10]
==
[SP: 100]
My stats grow nicely. My INT and WIS also grow alongside my physical stats from the constant running and fighting in close combat when the goblins manage to get near me. That is the reason why my VIT is faster than my STR and DEX. I get stabbed a lot and need a lot of potions to heal it up.
I also have a lot of SP to use in emergency situations.
As for my title, I get it when I kill a hundred goblins in this place. I press the title and read them once again.
[Goblin Hunter]
"You who hunt goblins for the better of the world shall receive the blessing from the Goddess of the Hunt."
Effect: Get a 25% damage bonus against any Goblin
Yup. This is a perfect title for me while hunting in this place. That bonus also stacks with other goblin-related bonuses, which is excellent.
Not only that but after getting my class past level ten, I got another two spells. This time, they are AOE spells. They are all AOE spells. The first one is [Fireball].
[Fireball] [Level 3] [Active] [MP Cost: 25] [Cooldown: 15 Seconds]
"Release a fireball that explodes on impact, damaging all enemies within a 3 meter radius."
Damage: 55 + (INT x 1.5)
Effect: Burn the enemies for five seconds (5 damage per second)
This is a great Burst and AOE spell that lets me deal with a lot of damage to my targets and even causes a burn effect on them. This spell also one-shot all the weaker goblins in this dungeon. The only downside is the long cooldown of this spell.
The second spell is called [Poison Bomb].
[Poison Bomb] [Level 3] [Active] [MP Cost: 32] [Cooldown: 17 Seconds]
"Summon a blob of poison above your target that will explode, damaging all enemies within a 2 meter radius."
Damage: 30 + (INT x 1.2)
Effect: Poison the enemies for three seconds (12 damage per second)
This spell does not deal as much damage as [Fireball], but the effect is nastier. The reason? The effect gets longer the higher level this spell becomes. [Fireball] effect never changes even when the level of the spell increases, unlike this one.
Other than my stats and spells, I also get a lot of money from exploring the dungeon and killing the goblins. There are hidden chests that contain money around the dungeon that I open. Because of this, I have a hundred gold coins in my inventory.
"System, what weapon do you recommend for me? I want to attack the goblin camp."
[I have two weapons that I recommend, Host. Here they are.]
I look at the two panels that appear in front of me.
[Mystic Branch] [Uncommon]
"A branch from an ancient tree infused with faint magical energy. It hums softly when held by a true mage."
Stats Bonus: +10 WIS, +2 INT
Effect: Slightly increases MP regeneration (+5% MP regen).
This is great if I want a sustained fight because that MP regen can be great in combat. Casting more spells in combat is great, after all. I can circle between my early spells and keep casting. I look at the second one and read it.
[Grimoire of Embers] [Uncommon]
"A beginner's tome containing fundamental fire spells. The pages radiate faint warmth."
Stats Bonus: +7 INT, +3 WIS
Effect: Increases Fire Spell Damage by 10%.
Ah, this one is the opposite of the first one. If the first weapon is for a long fight, this one is quick and destructive. It will give me a full DPS that hits hard but will get exhausted quickly. I looked at the price, and it is about the same.
The first is eighty-nine gold coins, and the second is ninety-three gold coins. They are pricey, but I know how expensive a magic weapon is.
I think for a few seconds before choosing the Grimoire instead of the wand. The reason? I need more firepower, and I already bought a bulk of mana potions beforehand. I am good in the mana department.
A second after I press the buy button, a white book appears in front of me. I grab it and smile a little. I can feel the warmth the book gives me, and I know this book will be great for me.
With a new weapon in hand, I am ready to fight the goblin boss.

3rd POV
Jacob looks at the goblin camp in front of him and grins. While on top of a tree, he points at the camp with his grimoire in his hand and says.
"Fireball!"
A massive ball of fire appears above him and flies toward the camp. It explodes when it hits the wall and burns the camp. Unlike in an RPG game, the goblin starts to leave the camp instead of staying in the burning camp, and Jacob can see the boss coming out of the camp.
[Goblin Lord] [Boss Monster] [Level: 15]
[HP: 21,000 / 21,000]
[MP: 0 / 0]
"Tch. He still has full HP. Oh, well. Poison Bomb!"
He casts another AOE spell and watches as a blob of green goo appears above the boss and explodes. The boss screams in pain as its skin starts to release smoke after getting hit by the poison.
Jacob does not stop there. He continues to cast his spells on the Goblin Lord and only stops when he sees a group of goblins notice him. He quickly takes action and casts spells toward them. In RPGs, it is better to ignore mobs and only attack Boss to end the dungeon faster, but Jacob has a plan.
And that plan requires him to kill the goblins as well.
He continues to kill the goblins near him and only stops when he sees the Goblin Lord start to move toward him. He looks at the boss and says.
"Magic Bind!"
Chains appear around the boss, making the goblin lord stop moving and making the boss vulnerable to all of Jacob's spells.
"Firebolt! Frost Shard! Fireball!"
Spell after spell hits the target, and the goblin lord writhes in pain but still moves forward after the effect of [Magic Bind] is over. With all his spells on cooldown, Jacob looks down and sees at least forty goblins charging toward his tree.
With a grin, he says.
"Poison Bomb!"
A poison blob appears and hits all the goblins, killing them in seconds. After they are dead, Jacob levels up, all of the cooldown reset, and his mana is replenished.
With a grin, he cast another [Magic Bind] at the boss and immediately cast all his spells toward the boss.
His grin gets bigger when he sees the boss get the [Slow] debuff from his ice spells and make its movement even slower than before, letting him spam his spell even more. He chugs three mana potions at once and continues to cast more spells.
Jacob feels bad when the boss starts to sound fearful, but he remembers that they are monsters and continues to cast his spells.
After a few minutes, the boss fell to the ground, dead.
Just like that, Jacob manage to conquer the mirror dungeon. While he is celebrating his victory, he doesn't know that a massive announcement is happening in the real world.
[Congratulations, Jacob Helinuse Yurka, for conquering Goblin's Nest dungeon!]
