It's been a while since the incident in the woods. We couldn't find Tae anywhere and Evan also didn't believe me when I said someone did call my name.
"It's probably just you hallucinating," Evan said one afternoon when we were having lunch.
"NO! I swear it was real" I answered, getting frustrated by the second.
Why won't Evan believe me?! To be honest, after weeks of trying to convince Evan, I'm starting to believe that it is just my hallucination after all. But I just couldn't shake off the feeling that something odd was happening.
Not to mention the smoke or fog, forming inside of the crystal is slowly turning red. It first started as a grayish color, then it slowly turned to a pinkish one as it got darker and darker over time. I didn't mind it at first and thought it was some weird toy that Tae probably dropped or something, I left it at home but then as I got home, I found my room so messy, as if a tornado had passed through it. Since then I always brought the thing with me and never left it alone. At least it didn't cause any trouble when I was around.
Lunch break ends and it's time for us to go back to class. Next is Math class, Mr. Square's subject.
"Math class" I sigh as I sit down in the chair beside Evan's.
"Yeah, you do your homework?" Evan asks as he pulls out the math textbook from his bag.
Of course I do, silly. I would never have the bravery to not do my math homework, especially remembering it has an effect on my report card.
"Of course I do, who do you think you're talking to?" I huffed proudly as I about to pull ot my math textbook but-
"huh??" It's not there?! NO, NO WAY.
I immediately dug into my bag, searching for that damned textbook. No, I worked so hard on that shit, why? WHY?! For a solid 5 minutes I sigh and gave up once I realizes I left it at home.
"Can I copy your homework? Please?" I pleads towards Evan, c'mon, my best friend would help me, right?
"Yeah, yeah, fine" Evan sighs as he handed over his textbook towards me.
My eyes immediately brightens as he took the textbook in my hand happily.
"AAAAWWW THANK YOU!!!!" But as I was about to copy Evan's homework…. A click could be heard from the door to our class, I looked up and saw Mr. Square… already here. FUCK, really?! WHY.
"oops- sorry man, can't help you now" Evan shrugged as he took back the textbook from my hands. I want ot hit him so badly at this point.

and you guessed it. I just looked down in shame as Mr. Square lectures me in front of the whole class for being clumsy. The class went silent and just watch as I got sent to wait outside until class ends. This got to be the worse day ever, not to mention it's raining, making the hallway colder and wet with water. I sigh again for the countless time today as I lean against the wall beside the door to my class, this couldn't get any worse, could it?
I can heard Mr. Square yelling again from the outside, this time he's angry at Tae who didn't do her homework, as usual. I just grumbled as I heard the muffled laughters of my classmates from the class, laughing at Tae specifically.
Out of boredom, I decided to cover my face and dissappear. It didn't took long until the door to the class are opened, followed by laughters as the messy looking girl steps outside and lean agaist the wall beside mine, completely oblivious to the fact I'm there. Remembering how many times Tae had been here, I'm surprised she didn't have her special spot for standing.
We just stood there in silence, letting the sounds of thunders and raindrops fill the air. The sky is slowly getting darker as the sky is covered by a thick of black clouds, and the rain shows no sign of stopping too. At that time, I do not realize how the fog inside of the crystal that is in my pocket had fully turn into a dark crimson red. I peeked from the gap of my fingers, and watch as a huge thunder appeared in the dark sky, making a very loud noise. For a split second, I thought I saw a figure from the end of my eye.
No, how can? There are no one here else than us, right? Another thunder followed the one before, and a tall dark figure suddenly appeared in froover nt of me, towering me like a slenderman. I froze as my eyes widened in shock, I needed to move, Ithe need to do something, but it was as if the wind around me grew colder, freezing me on the spot.
"Hello there, Milo." the figure greeted, and that's when I screamed in surprise and uncovered my face, forgetting that Tae… was there.
I was panting as I hold my left chest where my heart is suppose to be with my right hand. What was that?! No, that was too REAL to feel like a hallucination. I looked back at where I assume the figure was at, but the thing is no longer there.
"Milo?" I heard someone called and looked to my side to see Tae as surprised as I am. But unlike me who's surprised because of a mysteriously scary figure suddenly appeared, she is surprised due to one of her classmate suddenly appearing in front of her.
Oh no, please dont, please dont say that she saw that.
"Milo, did you just disappear?" she asks in barely a whisper, finding this hard to believe.
I'M SCREWED.
"No, what makes you think of that?" I answered, looking away, playing it dumb.
"Then what is that?! TELEPORTATION?! I'm not blind, Milo" Tae answered, seems like she's over her shock.
"its nothing you need to worry about!" I answered back, annoyed now.
"Milo, this is so cool! No way this is real!! This is only something you'll probably see inside of comic books or tv shows!! This is amazing!!" she cheered, seems to ignore me denying that fact I can dissappear.
"I told you I can't dissappear!!" I answered, still holding on to my statement.
"Oh please, I saw it with my own two eyes and my eyes are completely fine!" she huffed, not buying my lie.
"You are just seeing things!!!" I snapped, frustrated now.
"Boohoo, Milo's a liar, pants on fire!" She's still being stubborn.
"STOP!! That insult was so last year!" I'm not giving up just yet.
"But it still manages to piss you off" she rolls her eyes with a grin. No wonder she get into fights a lot.
"I swear I WILL-"
BAM
the door to our class suddenly is slammed open and we saw Mr. Square leaning against the door frame, seems unpleased.
"Now, what's so important here that both of you started yelling and disturb my class?" Mr. Square asks. It doesn't sound like a question though, more like a threat. I sighs as I look back down to the floor.
"Miss Taegan, you will not be allowed to attend my class if you continues this barbaric behaviour" Mr. Square glared at Tae who just scratches the back of her messy head while looking away doesn't look guilty at all.
"And I expect more from you, Milo." Mr. Square scoffs as I looked down in shame.
"If I heard both of you yelling and disturbing my class again, I will not hesitate to gave both of you detention after school." Mr. Square gives out his last warning before slamming the door close.
For a few minutes, there are only silence both of us, filled with the sound of rain and thunder. Though it didn't last long as Tae continues the banter before.
"So can you actually disappear?" Tae asks again. It's starting to get annoying.
"Can you? Hey, answer me!" She demanded as I ignore her.
"Fine then, I'll just find it out myself" she scoffs as she gave up and let the sound of the rain fills the air again.
Great, I have another problem to handle now. But then again… who was that figure?
