With his minions stronger than ever, thanks to their independent skill unlocked at Level 5, Mike set his sights on the monster-infested village. He had a plan: his minions would take down the monsters guarding the humans, and he would handle the leader.
Mike and his army approached the village's entrance, where a hulking monster—tough, armored, and clearly a guard—stood blocking the way.
"Alright, little guys, you know the drill," Mike said with a confident smile. "Go get 'em!"

The minions darted forward, their speed and agility on full display as they attacked the guard monster. Their claws tore through the beast's hide like paper, and within moments, the guard collapsed, defeated.
Mike's eyes gleamed with pride. "Good job, team. Now for the fun part."

The Leader's Challenge
Inside the village, the leader monster awaited. This one was massive, towering over Mike, with dark red scales and eyes that seemed to burn with an eerie glow.
"So, another monster has come to challenge me?" the leader said, his voice deep and rumbling. "I am Gorvoth, and I will crush you."
Mike stepped forward, his tail flicking behind him. "You can talk?" he asked, surprised.
Gorvoth laughed. "Why not? This world is full of surprises."
Mike smirked. "Guess so. But your surprise is gonna be the end of you."

Mike activated a burst of energy from his system, his body glowing with enhanced power. Gorvoth charged, slamming into Mike with all his might. The impact shook the ground, but Mike held his ground.
The two monsters exchanged brutal blows. Gorvoth swung a massive fist at Mike, but Mike ducked, using his enhanced speed to avoid the attack. Mike retaliated, his claws slashing through the air, each strike landing with deadly precision.
"You're strong, I'll give you that," Mike said, grinning as he dodged another swing. "But not strong enough."
Finally, with a well-timed strike, Mike pierced Gorvoth's side, causing the leader to roar in agony.
Gorvoth fell to his knees, blood oozing from the wound. "You... will regret this. The king will come for you...!"
Mike just smirked. "I don't care."
He moved forward, sinking his teeth into the monster's flesh. As he fed, the evolution points popped up on his system screen.

After the Fight: The Village and Eli
After finishing off Gorvoth, Mike turned to see his minions already clearing out any remaining monsters. The village was finally safe.
When Mike met up with Eli, the boy looked up at him with wide eyes. "Mr. Monster, are you leaving now?"
Mike nodded. "My job's done. I'm heading out."
Eli clutched his sleeve, his face full of concern. "But... don't leave, Mr. Monster. You're a good monster. Please stay. I'll tell the village that you're here to help. They'll understand."
Mike raised an eyebrow. "You sure about that? I'm not exactly what they're used to."
Eli smiled up at him. "I'll explain. They'll see you're a good monster. Come with me."
Mike hesitated, glancing around at the villagers who were still wary of him. But seeing Eli's earnest face, he sighed. "Alright. I'll come."
As they walked back into the village, Eli explained to the villagers who Mike really was, and slowly, they began to warm up to the idea. Mike, despite his towering presence, was now considered a protector—much to his surprise.
As Mike and Eli made their way through the village, Eli whispered with a twinkle in his eye, "Mr. Monster, do you think there's someone stronger than you out there?"
Mike chuckled, his tail flicking. "There's always someone stronger. But I'll deal with that when the time comes.
