Assassin class

"He's fast!" the party team thought as their gaze locked onto Ares. Some couldn't follow Ares' movements, not knowing what had happened.

And with one wield—one wield of the sword—the bunch of enraged orcs charging at him collapsed to the ground in an instant, their bodies radiated by his sword.

"No way! This brat... has a human kind with that strength?" Goruk said, sitting on the throne with a surprised reaction.

Then, at Goruk's signal, his army immediately charged at Ares. These were no ordinary orcs—each one was a level 25 Red Orc, tougher and more brutal than the ones before.

Goruk grinned at the hunters, his sharp teeth gleaming with amusement. His expression was clear—he looked down on them as if they were nothing more than insects, doomed with no chance of making it out alive.

"And he switched his eyes to Ares, who was killing his army like toys.

'This brat is cocky... I will kill you first!' Goruk declared.

Then, he used his power—Earth Surge—which allowed him to shake his surroundings at will. In an instant, a shockwave capable of crushing his enemies to the ground erupted, surging toward Ares.

His surroundings began to shake as if it were the end of the world. Darius' teammates immediately cast their magic to shield themselves from any incoming physical and magical attacks.

Their faces were filled with worry for Ares as they stood behind him.

"This kid... is he really going to finish this battle without our help?" Darius muttered in frustration.

"Don't worry about him—worry about yourself, fool!" Elena snapped at Darius.

"Didn't you see his face? He's enjoying this battle like it's just a game," she added, her eyes fixed on Ares.

She trusted in Ares' strength because she knew he was hiding more up his sleeve. There was something about him—something powerful, an unseen force lurking beneath the surface.

Elena could sense it, a power not yet awakened. But when it did... it would be capable of destroying nations.

As the daughter of the magic wizard, she trusted her instincts, which allowed her to sense and perceive the hidden potential in someone.

And this was the second time she had felt it—after someone she had known long ago. But this time, the power was overwhelming, a terrifying magic unlike anything she had ever encountered before.

Gideon and the others nodded at Elena, acknowledging her words. Meanwhile, Darius couldn't shake off the urge to join the battle and help Ares, but in the end, he just stood there, unable to argue back.

His hands clenched into fists, frustration boiling inside him. He wanted to fight, to prove himself useful—but deep down, he knew.

Ares didn't need his help.

Meanwhile, after the orc used his skill to crush Ares into the ground, Ares barely managed to dodge it. As the shockwave came at him from a short distance, he quickly jumped to the side to avoid it.

Instead, the orc's own army was hit by the attack—one of them had his head explode against the ground like a squeezed lemon.

Ares took this chance to slash them all in an instant. His movements had increased this time—faster, sharper. As the ground lay in ruins, he leaped forward like a lion, trampling over the orcs' bodies while wielding his sword left and right.

Swish! Slash!

Blood sprayed through the air as his blade cut through them with unstoppable force.

Since Ares knew that orcs had low intelligence and only thought about enraging and charging at their prey, he saw this as an opportunity. He used his flare bomb to blind them, creating a momentary opening. Without hesitation, he removed the pin and threw it at them instantly.

"Here's your gift!" Ares muttered, covering his eyes with his other hand.

The surroundings flashed instantly, as if they had been engulfed in a blinding light, illuminating the dark cave. For a few seconds, none of them could see anything—not even Darius had expected it.

As their vision slowly returned to normal, their eyes widened in shock.

"Whaaat!?" the party team shouted, completely clueless about what had just happened.

The orcs had collapsed to the ground, their faces turning violet as they desperately tried to rid themselves of the poison. They scratched at their skin in a futile attempt, but the poison spread rapidly. Moments later, they died instantly.

Without wasting a second, Ares moved quickly.

Without wasting a second, Ares moved swiftly, relentlessly slashing their throats with his sword while spinning his dagger with deadly intent. Desperately, he aimed to finish the battle at once, knowing he couldn't maintain his stamina forever. If his energy dropped even for a moment, Goruk would seize the opportunity—but Ares could not let that happen.

After a long, grueling battle, Goruk gritted his teeth in anger, stunned by what he was witnessing.

"What the hell is happening?! What is this?!" Goruk muttered, panic creeping into his voice as he sat on his throne.

Ares, now nearly upon him, wielded both of his weapons, closing the distance.

Realizing the imminent danger, Goruk immediately stood from his throne, preparing to unleash his trump card.

"Damn! I won't let that brat defe—"

His words were cut off.

Before he could even finish his sentence, his body collapsed to the ground. His head spun as if the world itself was slowly rotating.

Ares stood over Goruk's lifeless body, watching him in his pitiful state. His cold eyes showed no mercy.

In his final breath, Goruk couldn't comprehend what had happened. Then, in an instant, his body vanished.

Ares remained standing, stunned by what had just happened to his body.

When he was merely a few feet away from Goruk, he suddenly felt lighter. His surroundings seemed to slow, and the moment he leaped toward Goruk, he vanished instantly—only to reappear right in front of him, catching the orc king completely off guard with his attack.

As the battle finally came to an end, a notification appeared on his screen. His class had finally been shown up, along with the confirmation of Goruk's defeat.
