Chapter 6

Soon, my birthday arrived. I abandoned my previous life's approach of just gathering friends, opting instead for a grand celebration.

At the most luxurious hotel in State A, I invited everyone I could, hoping to show Vienna who the real Cinderella was.

"Vienna, over here!"

Vienna wore the dress she had bought that day, looking somewhat shabby among the crowd in their elegant attire.

"Dad, Mom, this is my best friend Vienna."

I pulled her over abruptly. She stood beside me, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

I had only one attitude towards all her feelings—complete disregard.

I ignored her uneasiness, her inferiority, only showing her a life of dazzling luxury.

The inferiority in her eyes gradually disappeared, replaced by desire and ambition.

Mason, due to a business trip, arrived fashionably late.

He knew I was wealthy, but he had no real concept of just how rich I was.

Our family naturally disliked commotion, so when we got married, we only invited relatives and friends, holding the wedding at our ancestral home in the countryside.

Now that he knew, it was impossible for him not to be tempted.

When I noticed his gaze towards me returning to its initial tenderness, I knew he was smitten. With a shared goal in mind, how would these two people vying for my favor react when faced with an ultimatum to choose between them?

I watched with intrigue as the pair constantly surveyed their surroundings.

The real show was just beginning.
