Chapter 12

The next morning, Mason woke me up early.

"Rosalie, let's go out for breakfast."

"Okay."

I deliberately felt the bed beside me, "It's so cold, honey."

"Did you get up very early?"

"Ah..." He didn't expect me to suddenly say this, and cold sweat immediately broke out on his forehead.

"Uh... yeah, I got up to check out the hotel's breakfast..."

Watching him rack his brains for an excuse, I couldn't help but find it amusing.

"Oh, I see. I thought you went out for a quickie."

He instantly stiffened, and after a moment, he forced a smile and said:

"Darling, what kind of joke is that? How could that be possible?"

"I know you wouldn't."

I smiled at him, "Come on, let's go get Vienna for breakfast."

But Mason's "good luck" still hadn't stopped.

"Sir, congratulations! You've won the grand prize!"

During breakfast, the hotel held a small event.

As expected, Mason scored the grand prize again.
