Pulling me

Damon pov.

I have no idea what we are doing why we left but this pull is making us mad with some sort of need we don't understand. It started small but after a week we had packed up and on the move God knows where. It's been a month but a few days ago it has gotten worse we've had nearly no rest only stopping to eat and get a few hours. I can feel we are getting close to what is calling me.

" we should find something to eat soon you have not been feeding properly" Dan asks me but I don't listen just keep going.

Then I hear it every hair on my body stands on end as the scream piercing my heart travels to us.

" mate" I say without realising what I just said I run full speed thank the gods they are hell hounds so they can keep up. What I see coming through the trees is pure horror a small girl tied to the tree being whipped half naked blood running down her back.

" KILL THEM ALL" I ordered not taking my eyes off her.

She's actually not wanting us to kill them this little one actually wants to do it herself but she's to weak to do anything. Letting her free she so light I reassure her getting her to sleep on my shoulder.

" there are more somewhere get them all find out everything you can from them where she is from how they got her I want to know everything" I tell them.

" we will they used scent blockers so I think she has come from a wolf pack or tiger pack but we can follow it no problem. Is she okay she has lost a lot of blood and she's not healing" Vin points out.

" she smells different as well what is she I've never smelt anything like her before" Dan asks coming closer he checks her wounds " grab the bag for me I will patch her up before we go for a hunt" he adds.

I don't let go for the first time in a month the pull has gone silent but replaced with burning rage and strangely enough a calm I've never felt before. Her blood smells so sweet I can't wait to taste her ever bit of her.

" I need to feed now" I say looking at Dan as Vin is busy Dan moves quickly.

" wrist or neck" he asks I take his wrist sinking my fangs in moaning as his rich thick blood fills my mouth. I take my fill I've not eaten this much since the calling started another reason why am happy I met them. I don't have to worry about feeding on them they are more immortal than me. It would take well I don't know what to kill my guys. I still don't know why they chose to stay with me well the fun we have maybe has something to do with it.

" there done just need to put some clothes on her. She is covered in scars this is not the first time she has been whipped. I want to know who did this to her and make sure we burn it down so she can watch" Vin growls out thru gritted teeth.

" go find out I will set up a camp not far from here she needs to rest and food" I tell them as I slip a shirt over her head.

They strip off shifting before going on a hunt. I think there should be a cave near here hopefully. I feel her temperature rising hope they finish up soon so I can gather what she needs and they all said I was crazy for learning how to heal the other races. It was what I like to do learning about plants and there uses guess I'm going to need to keep a bag on me at all times from know on. She is small and very weak I bet she will get sick easily. I will need to think about what she will need to eat it would help if I new what she is.

" I hope this forest has what you need to bring down your fever and something to fill your stomach little one we will need to be here for a while until you are strong enough to travel" I tell her as I stroke her hair spotting a cave I take her in setting her down on her side. Laying down a some hides for her need to get Dan to fix up a make shift bed moving her on to it. I go to the edge of the cave and gather some wood to start a fire hearing her moan in pain making my heart hurt.

" I should have been faster" I sigh going back and setting up the fire.

" we got them all and brought the party boss for you to talk to and we will need him" Vin says coming into the cave dragging a lump.

" keep your voice down she is asleep find somewhere to keep him. She needs medicine I need to go find some more herbs and hopefully get some food. Set up a pot of water for me and Dan I need you to make her a bed I don't want her to sleep on the cold floor..... Oh and why do you need him? " I ask confused.

" she is our mate too remember " Vin sighs

" and what does that have to do with him" I ask

" well you know we are different from others..... We will go into rutt needing to complete the bond so.... well.... our hound will need to release and we will not put you or her thru taking us in that form you can help me but not him" Vin says with a sad smile.

" I don't like you touching another man you two are mine" I growl grabbing his throat.

" I know but we can't hurt yous it will break our hearts please understand this is not something we can control" he tells me holding my face.

" fine but not anywhere near us we don't want to here it" I growl leaving him Dan passing me as I leave.

" make her a bed" I tell him anger burning me tonight is the worst my mate being tortured and my other two mates needing to use a stand in for fuck sake.
