Chapter 3

AKIRA'S POV

I remembered the Alpha's faces at that moment. They didn't say anything,

just turned their heads away from me and started marching forward. Thane

looked at me, confused, but I shook my head, confirming that I had no idea

what was going on and was just as confused as everyone else.

I ran into my room and slammed the door, trying to steady my breathing as I

struggled to understand the reality before my eyes. What kind of sick and

twisted games could the moon goddess be playing with my life? First, shemade that lying, psychopathic Thane my mate, and now the three supreme

Alphas are my mates too. I am mated to four different men? How is that even

possible? And three of them just had to be wolf gods. How could nobody like

me be mated to them? How is that even possible? I didn't want to believe the

reality staring me in the face at that moment. Did they know? I tried to

understand if they knew I was their mate, but even a weak werewolf could

sense their mates from thousands of miles away. There's no way wolves as

powerful as them wouldn't have known I was their mate. There's no way they

wouldn't have known.

If Princess Kaida found out, she would kill me. Thane would kill me. I could

probably be beaten to death, or worse, thrown into the dungeon and left to

slowly die of hunger. A lot could happen to me, and I was terrified just thinking

about it. I didn't want to risk that at all.

I sat down on the floor in my room, trying to steady my racing heart. I was

sure no one would notice if I wasn't around for a few hours because I wanted

to stay as far away from them as possible.

A few hours passed, and I was starting to get sleepy, almost dozing off, when

someone slammed the door to my room open, nearly shattering it from the

impact. I quickly sprang to my feet and was met with Alpha Thane and his

sister, Princess Kaida, standing there.

"You whore!" Thane rushed toward me, grabbing and throwing me against the

wall aggressively. "How dare you be mated to them? Am I not enough foryou?" he demanded, picking me up while I cried, pleading, unable to bear the

pain.

"How dare you be mated to the men I was supposed to marry!" Princess

Kaida barked, looking stressed as she ran her fingers through her hair before

screaming in frustration. "I swear, if they don't decide to marry me, I will kill

you," she threatened.

Thane held me by the back of my neck and said, "Do you know how important

this union is for me and my pack? Now your crazy self is mated to them. What

if they don't decide to marry my sister?" He grabbed my cheeks, his fingers

digging in painfully. "Now they are asking for you, and this is what you are

going to do: you are going to go into their rooms, reject them as your mates,

and go back to being my little whore, like you always have been."

I couldn't control my tears as I tried to speak, but Thane's fingers pressed

deeper into my cheeks. He soon realized I was trying to speak and let go,

saying, "You know I can't reject mates; that's my family curse. We are not

allowed to reject our mates unless they reject us." That was the main reason I

was still mated to this bastard.

"Well, that is none of my business," he spat out angrily before tightening his

grip on me. "You are going to make sure those Alphas reject you, or I will

make sure you suffer for the rest of your miserable life if you ruin this for me,"

he said, pushing me away aggressively. I stumbled forward as he growled,

"Now go."I wiped my tears with the back of my hand, feeling the pain all over my body

from their countless abuses. A maid was waiting just outside my room, ready

to escort me to the Alphas' chambers. As we arrived at their chambers, the

maid who escorted me there turned her back and hurried away, obviously too

afraid to stay.

What if they abuse me just like Thane? I was too broken to take any more

abuse. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. Taking a deep

breath, I pushed the door open and stepped into the dark room. It was too

dark to see anyone.

"My lords" I called out, trying to stop myself from panicking. My throat grew

dry, my hands shook, and my lips quivered as I took small steps further into

the room. My heart pounded so hard in my chest that I was certain I would die

from fear before they could do anything to me.

"Delicate little wolf," a voice said behind me, gently touching my hair. I gasped

and turned around, but there was no one there. What kind of twisted games

were they playing? I was scared and wanted to leave when the torches on the

wall suddenly turned on, lighting up the room and giving me a clear view.

The brothers were there. Two were relaxing on chairs, while the third lay on

the bed, paying me no attention. They were brothers, but each had distinct

features. One had long, pure white hair, giving him an ethereal look with a

peaceful aura. Despite my fear, I couldn't help but admire his beauty; he was

truly enchanting. Another had black hair almost reaching his shoulders; unlike

the white-haired one, he had a dangerous and cold aura, with perfectly

aligned features and a perfect, he was too handsome, too handsome I thoughthe wasn't real. The third had short golden hair, his eyes fixed on me. Like the

others, he was strikingly handsome too.

"Are you scared? Don't be," the one with the white hair said, his eyes on me.

"Forgive my brother's manners; he doesn't know how to act around strangers,"

the golden-haired one added. It must have been the white-haired one who

touched me and startled me.

The dark-haired one finally sat up, staring at me, and I couldn't take my eyes

off him. There was something dangerous about him that strangely lured me in,

yet I was still terrified of them.

"I am Lycoan, that is Amarok," the golden-haired one introduced himself first

before pointing to the white-haired one whose name was Amarok "And he is

Skoll," he added, pointing to the one with black hair. I quickly memorized their

names.

"Are you going to kill me?" I asked, terrified, shaking where I stood. My breath

quickened, and my hands trembled uncontrollably as fear took over me.

They stared at me in silence as Skoll the one with black hair stood up from the

bed and walked toward me. I gulped, craning my neck to meet his eues.

"Such a delicate little thing," he said, his expression cold. "For centuries, we

haven't had a mate. Now the moon goddess decides to send us one. Why

should we kill her?" Skoll asked.Centuries? Was that an exaggeration? I knew they had lived for a long time,

but I hadn't realized it was that long.

"Wh…what…what do you mean?" I stammered.

"We will accept you as our mate, little one," Skoll continued, "but we can't

exactly force you to do our bidding. You have to agree to do whatever we

want."

That immediately terrified me. What plans did they have for me? What were

they going to make me do?

"We shall marry the princess, but you will be our mistress. Is that something

you can agree to?" Lycoan, the golden-haired one, asked. I glanced at him,

my fear growing.

Skoll, who had been standing in front of me, walked away and took a cup of

wine from a table before settling into a chair.

"The princess," I said, keeping my eyes fixed on the ground, "will have my

head if I agree to be your mistress." I was more afraid of what they might do to

me than of what Kaida could do, so I used her as an excuse, hoping they

wouldn't press me further.

"As our first mate in centuries, we offer you one wish," Amarok said. "Mention

one thing you want, and we shall grant it to you, whatever it might be. In

return, you will be our mate and do whatever we command."I stood there, confused . Could they really grant any wish? "If I wish for my

entire family to rise from the dead, can you make that happen, my lords?" I

asked. They exchanged glances before turning their eyes back to me. Skoll

replied, "Their spirits have wandered too far in the underworld; they cannot be

returned."

I nodded, understanding their limitations. I considered what I might truly want.

Freedom? Riches? A life for myself? None of these seemed to hold any

importance to me anymore. I couldn't think of what I wanted, nor could I reject

these powerful beings.

"You do not have a wish?" Amarok asked, growing impatient. I looked at him,

unsure of what to say. He sighed and continued, "Well, if you do not have a

wish, then—"

I interrupted him as a thought came to mind. "What if I wish for destruction?" I

said. They looked at each other, clearly confused, before turning back to me.

Alpha Lycoan asked, "Destruction?"

"Yes," I replied.

"And what do you want destruction upon?" Skoll asked, leaning back in his

chair, clearly intrigued by the idea of destruction.

I hesitated, my heart beating as I glanced around nervously, wondering if I

might be killed for what I was about to say. Taking a deep breath, I gatheredmy courage and said, "If I want destruction against those who betrayed and

abused me, will you grant it?"

I paused before adding, "If I want this current pack to burn, the Alpha's head

on a spike, his sister as a slave, his warriors burned alive, and total

destruction of everything he once held dear, will you give me a chance for revenge?
