Chapter 8:New Beginnings
The cool wind was a fleeting sensation before the storm. "Oh man, I feel great, I haven't felt like this in ages!" King Midas's boast was the signal. Jaiden and Midas collided, their blows unleashing shockwaves. The fight was initially balanced, but Jaiden began to lose ground. Midas pressed his advantage, each strike a thunderous boom. The battle's destruction was almost beyond belief, a display of inhuman power.
Jaiden begins to evade each attack with pinpoint precision, as if he anticipated them all. He dodges and counters, dodges and counters, creating a relentless rhythm. Then, the atmosphere changes; Jaiden becomes increasingly lethal, rendering all incoming strikes ineffective. It's as if he gains an unexpected surge of power.
"Just a few pats," Kosumosu calls from the otherworld, bestowing some of his aura upon Jaiden. "And everyone falls flat."
The battle drags on, but eventually, Midas succumbs.
"Yay! We did it!" Says Jeremy. Jaiden falls to the ground and goes sound asleep. Meanwhile, the people of the country come from an underground bunker.
"Kaison?" They hear a distant voice coming from beneath the bushes. The mysterious figure reveals it self and its Tippy.
"Who are these people Kaison? Are they your brothers?" She asked waiting urgently for a response.
"Yeah" Kaison replied. Ke'Von walks away where he sees everything in crumbles except for king Midas throne and a book on top of it. He grabs it and gives it a read; it talks about the PEN OF CREATION and what it does and how to obtain it.
"P.O.C (PEN OF CREATION) To achieve this item you have to go on a journey throughout the cosmos; follow a path you think is best for you and at the end of the journey, you will face a being of great power. To obtain the PEN OF CREATION you have to defeat this being in battle. The pen gives you ultimate authority over reality and over writes anything; you would now be the author and life itself is your book." Ke'Von read this and brought it to the attention of the others. Knowing Jaiden as the valuable, strong and smart leader he is they decided he would be the one to get the pen of creation. And so that's what they strived for; they now had to go on a journey across the universe in search of this pen.
After telling everyone about the pen, they picked up the book and Tray stored it.
"We have to get a ship. Cool designs and good for travel" Jaiden stated.
"I can build a good ship for us!" Tippy bellowed.
"I can help her;" said Jeremy "I'm good with proportions and can draw the blueprint."
"I can just create one..." says Ke'Von.
"Nope; your creation magic has a limit so something bad can happen while flying but you can help build." Jaiden replies.
The squad heads off outside of the Kingdom to go in a cave and get some rest. When they all wake up; there is a boy yelling outside the cave.
He was dark skin with a petite build. "Hey!" He exclaimed; "I've seen you guys fight King Midas. Glad you got him off our hands. Please master, teach me your ways." He stated as he kneeled infront of Jaiden.
"I'm not a master, I'm still in training myself." Jaiden replies.
After some more begging from this mysterious boy. Omoshiroi intervenes and tells the boy that he can train under him. They welcome him to the group and he tells them that his name is De'Von. They settle down and start a fire, preparing for dinner.
"Well I'm here for two reasons. One is that I do want to learn and train. But, the second reason is because I was sent here. I was sent here to tell you all that you need to beat Lucifer. We need to bring balance to the universe, he only brings darkness and a war is about to happen. The second war of heaven and hell. We only have 7 more months."
Everyone gasps in shock. Jaiden stands tall and proud.
"Well; we will just have to handle that." He says while flexing.
"You guys will need to train, y'all aren't ready for that competition yet." Omoshiroi states
