No. Not Again!

Alger had just finished handling the Young Marquess's long-neglected work, which should have been done by his elder brother, Eiser, the rightful successor of the House Gwendolyn. However, Eiser had yet to return home, still wandering around the continent with the Crown Prince of Magnolia.

"Sigh..."

Alger had long harbored resentment toward Eiser's friendship with the Crown Prince. The future Emperor constantly relied on Gwendolyn's eldest son whenever he faced difficulties, an over-dependence that concerned Alger. He feared it would only make the Crown Prince complacent and ultimately an incompetent ruler.

He also knew Eiser well enough to understand that his brother didn't particularly like the Crown Prince either. Yet, for some reason, Eiser always allowed himself to be dragged around as if the Crown Prince wanted to broadcast their close friendship to the entire Empire.
