After defeating the wolves, Shion and Lina found themselves in a brief moment of calm. However, the distant roars reminded them that this forest held dangers far greater than packs of wild creatures.

The blue box appeared in front of Shion, displaying new information:

[Mission Update: Defeat the giant dinosaur terrorizing the forest.]

[Reward: Unlock skill + 500 experience points.]

Lina's blue box displayed the same update, and worry appeared on her face. "A giant dinosaur? No one has seen it up close and survived!"

Shion crossed his arms and said, "Then it's time someone did. We can't let this thing roam free if we want to survive here."

Lina looked at him with wide eyes. "Are you serious about this? Do you even have a plan?!"

Shion smirked confidently. "Plans are overrated. I'll figure something out when the time comes."

Lina sighed but decided to trust him. "Alright, but don't expect me to just stand around. I'll help in any way I can."

The two began their journey into the depths of the forest, where the darkness grew thicker and the surrounding sounds more ominous. The towering trees seemed to close in, blocking the sky from their view. Lina felt her anxiety grow with each step, but she wasn't about to show her fear in front of Shion.

Suddenly, Shion stopped and pointed at massive footprints embedded in the ground. They were larger than anything they had ever seen before.

Shion said seriously, "This is the dinosaur's track. Looks like we're on the right path."

Lina stared at the footprint nervously. "If this is just its track... how big is it really?"

Shion gave a calm smile and said, "We'll find out soon enough."

As they followed the trail, the ground suddenly shook beneath their feet. A thunderous roar tore through the air, causing Lina to grab Shion's arm in fear.

The giant dinosaur emerged from between the trees, its glowing red eyes fixed on them, and its sharp teeth gleaming with each roar. Its body was covered in rock-like scales, and its long tail slammed into the ground violently.

Lina whispered, "How can we possibly defeat something like that?"

Shion replied calmly, "Don't worry. I have a plan… sort of."
