Chapter 10 100 Percent Durability

"I don't want any complain after the test begins. Do you all understands?" Ask the Emcee.

"Yes!" Replied all the candidates.

"We go on to our first test today, as you can see, there are 50 open cubicles. These will test your strength and durability. You don't have to worry since no one will be eliminated on this test, unless you are too weak to handle your own strength. Yes right, since it is your strength that will be used to attack against you. How? First, you are going to punch that puppet at the right side of the cubicle which colored red. It won't matter where you want to hit it. It then will record your strength and pass it to the blue puppet at the left. The blue puppet will attack you three times. The first attack will be equal the strength of your attack, the second attack will be two times stronger than the attack you made. And the third, means three times stronger."Emcee Explained.

"Don't worry for as long as you can stand your own strength, it means you pass." He then said.

"So it was easy after all" Tundra said.

Some of the faculty arrived to watch the new candidates perform, other senior students as well went to Heroes Academy Hall.

Damon, whose originally Ruperth went to the Dean's chamber instead of going to join the first test.

"I want to see the Dean" he asked the guards.

The Dean overheared him "let him come." He ordered the guards so they let Damon come in.

"The student Damon greets the master, please accept my greetings" Damon said as he kneel infront of the Dean.

"Very good, please stand up"

"Do you mean, You take me as your student sir?" asked Damon who was still kneeling.

"What sir? I said stand up already"anwered the Dean so Damon got up.

"Thank you, master. I won't fail you and be greater than my mom" Damon said.

That day Ruperth, was being healed from his consciousness depletion syndrome he immediately went to the Dean's Chamber to acknowledge him as the master but he told him that he was waiting for his brother and that he got to see Geo first before he decide. But he told him to come back after taking the mask and a name, he said he is going to make him his student if he will not chose Geo as his student.

Ruperth deliberately choose to used a temporary name as a back up plan. His plan was to used this temporary name to kill Geo the moment the Dean revealed his own personal student but now that he was the one choosen by the Dean, then he don't need it anymore. No, he planned to used this temporary name until the Dean revealed his personal student Damon then after that he will used his permanent mask and hero name to hide his identity. But before the Dean revealed him Damon as his personal student, he must kill Geo first. First, he has to find out the name that Candidate Geo is using.

The Dean had choosen him which means it did not choose Geo. This makes Damon thinks his superior in anyway than that soft guy who his mother deemed a future hope of humanity as he overheared thier parents talk.

"The first test is still going on, you have to go before you got disqualified." The Dean reminds him of the test.

"Yes, master I will take my leave" Damon answered.

As Damon went out from the Dean's chamber he was still thinking how to deal with Geo. "Since it's your ability that causes Consciousness depletion syndrome, the moment you do something stupid I will diffinitely know your hero name. Geo I will come after you and kill and prove my mother is wrong."

Then Damon run all the way to the Heroes Academy Hall.

The Dean has already made his choice the moment he was certain that Geo is without a core but he don't understand the essence of the core that Geo had. It's empty since it's emptiness after all.

"This is your mistake Cassandra, I could never be wrong" the Dean taught to himself.

On the same time the teacher of Heroes Medical Department who ordered for an investigation of the suspect who initiated the Consciousness Depletion of Jasmine was waiting for a good news at her chamber. She wondered why both the Supreme Sword Master and Sky Surfer didn't leak some information to her now that it has come to her doorstep she won't do nothing.

"Ma'am, I found out who is the guy that causes that candidate Jasmine to loss her concouisness. I invistegated it thoroughly" told her student named Her-Bal-lists.

"W-where is he?" Asked the fatty teacher.

"He is also a candidate and now he is taking the test" answered Her-Bal-Lists.

"That means he had a new name or even a new face or masks now which make him hard to trace, but have you found out that boy's identity?" Asks the teacher.

"Yes ma'am, he is the second son of Zander the A+ hero and the SSS class hero Cassandra" replied the student.

"Oh my God!"

"Ma'am are you going to choose that boy as your new student? Asks Her-Bal-Lists.

"I'm not worthy of it if his Cassandra's son, I'm just curious of his kind of power. It's no wonder it's Cassandra's son after all. It's might be the reason those two heroes keep silent about this matter." Explained the teacher.

The test continues which make the candidates excited to test thier durability and strength. They are group into twenty since there are 50 sets of cubicles where they fall in line waiting for thier chance to perform the test. Each of them used thier strongest attack against the red puppet others even used thier skills. After that, the blue puppet is going to attack them 3 times. Each hit is stronger than the other.

Damon was at the last line in the fiftieth cubicle since he was late. He got a lot of confidence since he has awakened his ability of metalfication. Now he can change some part of his body into metal but not yet his full body.

Dina-might was a little bit nervous, afraid she would be weak and her parents would scold her is she failed the test.

Jasmine, is not worried at all, she knows she can do it.

Tundra was boasting like the test is nothing as he entered the cubicle, following next after him is Null which is so calm as ever without any emotions at all. He is at cubicle number two and after him is talkative candidate Lucky Zero.

"Hey I'm candidate zero,why is it that you look more colder than me but I'm cooler than you, you know. By the way, what was that your hero name?" Asked the mask man with sky blue in colour but Null don't care about him.

"Hey, do you think we can deactivate this mask? How do we sleep tonight with this mask on?" Lucky Zero continued to bothered Null.

"Why not asked that man" answered Null pointing the Emcee.

Lucky Zero look around the place Null is pointing then acted like he was shock.

"Did you just speak? I really taught you don't know how to speak"

Null ignored him once more so Lucky Zero tap his shoulder and he felt it's softer than any man.

"Your soft" he said.

"What?" Asked Null.

"I just want to know your name and be friends with you, after all we are classmates so it's understandable and justifiable" Lucky Zero explained.

As Tundra was done taking the test, Null already walked towards the cubicle but as he was going to enter he paused for a moment and turn around smiling at Lucky Zero.

"I am null" he said then moved on to take the test.

"Is that your real name because it's my real name, it would be unfair to me if that name is temporary"Lucky Zero complained.

"Can you just shut up!" Said the girl behind him.

"Hey lady, just mind your own business." Then he look at her and he can't help swallowing his own saliva.

"I'm Lucky Zero, what's your name lady?" He asked.

"Why would I give you my name? Are you worth it? She asks.

"Ofcourse yes,🎵 I'm your knight in the shining armor of a long time ago 🎵" and he goes on to sing the rest of the song.

"Stop it, don't you feel ashamed" the girl said shyly.

The guy still keeps on singing.

"Okey, enough I'm Vanessa it's my name"

"Is it your real name? Why all of a sudden you drop your real name? Are you going to marry me?" Lucky Zero asked in surprise.

"Idiot, why would I give you my real name? Of course it is my Hero name.

"Really? How unlucky, I almost fall for it. I almost give you my real name" said Lucky Zero, so Vanessa hit him in the head stamping her palm over it.

"Idiot!" She exclaimed.

"No! Ouch! Stop it! I never expected to meet a cruel woman in this Academy" as Vanessa was hitting his head again and again.

"Cruel you say" and Vanessa hit him again.

"Usual names can also be a hero names like Director Xavier or the hero Cassandra" she explained as she pinned the ear of Lucky Zero.

"Stop that, you are a fairy okey, a cruel one" just as he said he was hit again.

In the meantime, Null was taking his test. Facing the red puppet he tried to guess which part would he attack. He thinks it would be better if he just punches it in the head but his punches are not that hard or strong so he tried to look for a softer part. It's chest was hard too so he don't have any option but the belly.

Null gathered all his strength into his fist and punched the chest of the red puppet. The eyes turned red sending the signal to the blue puppet. There was also a floating screen next to it. And a message appeared.

Then a voice of the machine told him to turn around and prepare his diffense. And there was a 10 second countdown for the first attack.

As Null face the blue puppet, there was also a floating screen.

"Is this thing going to punch me since I attack him with a punch?" Null was curious.

Then, the puppet came and punch him in the chest.

"Why is this unfair? You punch me in the chest while I punch that one in the belly? He complained.

The screen messages remains the same after the first attack. Then another ten seconds countdown was set for the incoming second attack.

This time the blue puppet punch him in the head. Null was caught unprepared since he was defending his chest. But he don't feel anything.

As he look at the screen next to the puppet remains the same except that damage taken was no longer a question mark but a zero.

Then a new ten second countdown was set. The machine told him again to ready his defense.

Then Null open up his arms.

"Come on, just shoot me anywhere you want" he said.

After that, the blue puppet rush towards Null and punch him in the belly, the force had smash him to the red robot but he fells nothing. It's not painful. He remembered Ruperth beating him telling him to cry or beg for mercy but he won't do because he don't fell being hurt. Even if his tangible body was in a sorry state due to beating he don't cry. He don't feel the pain.

And now he feels like it was not enough, like of wanting more. It's like his body wants to feel pain once more. He feels like pain as water that he has been thirsty for many days and never drink by a drop of it. It's like his body wants to experience pain once more.

But then, Null comes back into his senses and remembered it was all a test.

He went to see the screen with the same message as it is.

"What? is this machine damage?" He thought. He himself couldn't believe that he took no damage from those attack.

As he get out of the cubicle he heared Lucky Zero shouting. "Brother help me, I've meet a cruel fairy!"

"And where do you think your going? Do you dare to leave me here alone?" She said while pinching the right ear of Lucky Zero.

"It's the test! Yes the test! I'm going to take it, it's my turn now. Lucky Zero explained and Vanessa let go of his ear.

"Just call yourself unlucky" Null told Lucky Zero.

"Why are you siding with her all of a sudden?" Lucky Zero asks but got ignored.

"Zero luck will do, I think" said Null as Lucky Zero was coming in.

"Noway, I'm always lucky" he replied.

After a while he finished the test and went outside frozen.

"I think I was really unlucky, it's all my fault." then he fall on the ground.

"Are you alright?" Vanessa asks.

Lucky Zero stand up immediately, "I feel better now since a fairy is right here talking to me. How nice it would be if she would take care of me"

Vanessa push him aside." Stupid!" She said, so Lucky Zero fall to the ground breaking some of the ice. Then Vanessa went to take the test.

"Why of all the fairies on earth I meet the most cruel one?" He complained.
