Chapter 11.1:The world from Abe’s aye

The road ahead was long, cracked, and

covered in dust. My boots hit the ground

with each step, the sound barely

noticeable in the silence around me. The

map Ava gave me showed the path to

Oracle, but nothing could have prepared

me for what I was about to see, the world was destroyed.

As I walked, I saw towns swallowed by

water, their rooftops barely visible above

the surface. Some places looked like they

had been hit by giant fists-homes

crushed, walls torn apart, streets filled

with rubble.

I passed what used to be a marketplace

The wooden stalls were broken, covered

in vines and dust. It must have been a

lively place once, full of people selling

food and goods. Now, it was silent.

Bodies lay lifeless on the ground some were fresh, their blood still staining

the ground. Others had been there for a

long time, just bones left behind from

Travelers like me,I swallowed hard and kept walking, it was hard to say and to acknowledge but the world no longer belonged to humans.

Hell beasts roamed freely, taking

whatever they wanted. Some were small,

no bigger than wolves. Others... others

were massive, their glowing eyes

scanning the ruins like kings of a broken

world.

I hid behind a fallen building when I saw one of them– a winged monster with dark

scales. It swooped down, grabbed a

merchant from the ground, and flew away.

The man didn't even have time to scream.

Later, I came across a pack of beasts

feasting on something.. or someone.

Their thin, black skin stretched tightly

over their bones. They had glowing red

eyes and sharp claws that tore through

flesh like paper. I crouched behind a

broken truck, holding my breath.

"Ava, check for nearby threats,"I

whispered.

Ava: Three hell beasts detected. Move

carefully.

I kept walking, my legs heavy, my body

tired. But I couldn't stop-not here.

By sunset, I found an abandoned town. A

broken streetlight flickered weakly,

buzzing in the evening air. I slipped into a

small convenience store. The windows

were shattered, the shelves empty

I sat on the cold floor, leaning against an

old fridge

Ava, status report.

Ava: Stamina at 30%. Hunger rising. No

serious injuries detected.

I sighed, rubbing my face.

This was the world now.

A world where only the strong survived.
