Chapter:5 path of dragon Sovereign

# Writing the 5th chapter in

The morning was quiet as Zhe Tian stood at the edge of the empire, staring out into the vast wilderness beyond. His thoughts were heavy, not just with the weight of leaving his family behind but also with the burden of his newfound destiny. He had so many questions, yet answers seemed to evade him like the wind.

The palace spirit, Xuanyi, materialized beside him in a soft golden glow. She was an ethereal beauty, her form both delicate and commanding. "You've been quiet for too long, Zhe Tian," she said, her voice calm yet firm.

Zhe Tian turned his gaze toward her, his eyes—a mesmerizing blend of silver and gold—reflecting the first rays of sunlight. "Xuanyi, I feel lost. I've left everything behind—my family, my fiancées, my home. And yet, I feel like I'm walking into the unknown with nothing but fragments of hope to guide me."

Xuanyi nodded, her expression sympathetic. "The path of the Dragon Sovereign is not one of ease. But remember, the universe within you is your greatest strength. It is both your sanctuary and your weapon."

Zhe Tian sighed. "You speak of strength, but I feel so weak. Even with the Dragon God's inheritance, I don't know where to begin."

---

Xuanyi's form shimmered, and a golden throne appeared beside her. She gestured for Zhe Tian to sit, but he shook his head.

"As you wish," she said. "Before you can move forward, you must understand the foundation of your cultivation. As the inheritor of the Dragon God, your path is unique. You will need to cultivate three primary techniques:

1. **Golden Dragon Body Technique** - To refine and strengthen your body, making it indestructible.

2. **Silver Dragon Soul Technique** - To temper and expand your soul, granting it immense power and versatility.

3. **World Devouring Core Technique** - To nurture your Dragon Core, enabling it to absorb and manipulate energy from the stars, the moon, and beyond."

Zhe Tian frowned. "Three techniques? That sounds... overwhelming."

"It is," Xuanyi admitted. "But your Divine Body of Emptiness makes you capable of much more. You will also need to learn auxiliary techniques to maximize your potential. Your body is a blank slate, Zhe Tian. With effort, you can master countless arts."

He nodded, determination flaring in his eyes. "Then I'll begin immediately. Where do I start?"

---

Xuanyi smiled. "Patience, young one. First, we must choose your path. You mentioned wanting to join a sect. Have you decided on one?"

Zhe Tian shook his head. "I've heard of a sect called *As You Wish*. It's said to be one of the most versatile sects in the lower realm, allowing its disciples to forge their unique paths. But I'm unsure if that's the right place for me."

Xuanyi tilted her head. "It is a good choice. However, with your profound energy and abilities, you must tread carefully. Your silver and golden energy will attract attention—both good and bad."

Zhe Tian smirked. "I'm used to attention. But tell me, Xuanyi, do you think I'm ready to join a sect? I barely know anything about the cultivation levels of this world."

Xuanyi's expression turned serious. "Then let me enlighten you. In this realm, cultivators progress through nine stages, known as the Nine Stages of Mortality. They are:

1. **Foundation Stage**

2. **Nascent Soul Stage**

3. **Spirit Forming Stage**

4. **Sky Ascension Stage**

5. **Void Traversing Stage**

6. **Star Condensing Stage**

7. **Moon Manifestation Stage**

8. **Sun Emperor Stage**

9. **Sovereign Mortal Stage**

"Each stage is a world of its own, and the gap between them is immense. You are currently at the very beginning, Zhe Tian, but your Divine Body of Emptiness gives you potential beyond imagination. With time and effort, you will surpass even the Sovereign Mortal Stage."

Zhe Tian absorbed her words, his mind racing. "And what about alchemy and blacksmithing? I've heard they are essential for a cultivator's journey."

Xuanyi nodded. "Indeed. Alchemy will allow you to create pills and elixirs to aid your cultivation, while blacksmithing will enable you to forge weapons and artifacts. Both arts require immense skill and patience. If you wish to excel, you must devote yourself fully."

Zhe Tian glanced inward, focusing on his dantian. Within him lay an endless universe, vast and teeming with potential. As his consciousness delved deeper, he saw the many minor universes contained within:

- **World of Elements**: A realm filled with fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning.

- **World of Illusion**: A mystical domain where reality and fantasy intertwined.

- **World of Hell**: A dark and forbidding place, filled with the power of destruction.

- **World of Heaven**: A serene and radiant realm, brimming with life and light.

- **World of Puppets**: A mechanical world populated by humanoid warriors and servants.

Each minor universe was sealed behind a massive gate, their power waiting to be unlocked. Zhe Tian marveled at their beauty and complexity, a sense of awe filling him.

Xuanyi's voice echoed in his mind. "These minor universes are your greatest treasures, Zhe Tian. With enough power, you can open their gates and bring them into the real world. They will serve you as protectors, allies, and sanctuaries."

"And the puppets?" Zhe Tian asked.

"They are your army," Xuanyi explained. "The warriors will fight for you, while the maids will serve you. Those who become your wives will have the authority to command them as well."

Zhe Tian's gaze fell on the gates, determination burning within him. "I will unlock them all, Xuanyi. But first, I need to grow stronger."

---

As he withdrew from his dantian, Zhe Tian noticed the earrings attached to his skin. One was silver, the other golden, both shaped like dragons. On his right wrist, a golden dragon bangle glimmered in the sunlight.

"These treasures are gifts from the Dragon God," Xuanyi said. "The earrings enhance your spiritual perception, allowing you to sense danger and hidden opportunities. The bangle strengthens your physical body, making it nearly indestructible."

Zhe Tian touched the earrings and bangle, gratitude filling him. "I will use these gifts wisely."

---

As Zhe Tian prepared to leave, Xuanyi gave him one final piece of advice. "Remember, Zhe Tian, your journey will be long and arduous. But you are not alone. The universe within you will guide and protect you."

Zhe Tian nodded, a faint smile on his lips. "Thank you, Xuanyi. I won't let you—or the Dragon God—down."

With that, he stepped forward, his heart filled with determination. The road ahead was uncertain, but Zhe Tian was ready to face whatever challenges lay in his path.

As the first rays of dawn broke over the horizon, Zhe Tian's journey truly began.
