Evolution: A Paradox

Thrown into an unknown world to die, Xerxes overcame the death and became the paradox which was beyond understanding.

Returning from his school, Xerxes took a shortcut to his home and entered the familiar, silent alleyway. But just as he took the first step, his surroundings melted away, and he found himself in a dark, dense forest.

Suddenly, a grey wolf leaped out of the shadows, its eyes gleaming with hunger. Xerxes sprinted away, but a whole pack of wolves were in pursuit. He yelled, hurled rocks, but they relentlessly pressed on.

One of the wolves lunged, its teeth sinking into his back. Xerxes crashed to the ground, writhing in agony. He thought he was going to die.

Then, the unexpected occurred. A surge of powerful energy coursed through him, his eyes glowing an eerie green. The wolf that had bitten him recoiled in fear.

Transformed by this mysterious power, Xerxes seized the wolf's leg. The forest echoed with the wolf's pained howls as Xerxes rose. The wolf began to dissolve, its essence being absorbed by Xerxes.

With his newfound power, Xerxes ventured deeper into the unknown world, determined to find a way back home.

This work is something I've been preparing for a long time, and I've finally decided to publish it. The novel is filled with amazing characters, a compelling setting, and a story that I hope you will all love. The main character, Xerxes, is a protagonist who starts weak, like an earthling, but becomes strong enough to be considered overpowered. The central point of the story is his power, which, while nameless, could be called "devouring" or "evolution." In actuality, it's a paradox that is difficult to understand. I look forward to your views and support. I suggest reading the first chapter for a clear understanding of the novel.
