The distant howling sounded closer and closer, so they quickly went back to the bunker. Lana's heart pounded in her throat, she couldn't decide what to think. After all, it's not every day you get death threats. After returning to their room, they silently took off the layers they had put on against the cold. Neither Lana nor Lilith initiated a conversation, they tried to process what happened within themselves. When Lilith was about to take a bath, Lana finally stopped her.
"What do you think we should do now? After all, they brought us here specifically as a bait" Lana started a conversation with her roommate.
"I, I don't know. I'm afraid, that's for sure, but what can we do? I think we have to accept the situation and do what they say, so we can get out of here alive" said Lilith quietly, then hurried out of the room. The girl was completely overcome by fear, she didn't even want to talk about it because she was afraid they might get into trouble. If what you've read about vampires and seen in the movies is true, they have very good hearing.
Lana, on the other hand, already thought differently, of course she was also terribly afraid, but her will crushed her fear. She put on her shoes and decided to look around to see if she could enter somewhere where she could get some useful information. Running away didn't even cross her mind, she wouldn't have a chance to make the long journey in this cold, the nearest town is miles away. After leaving the room she carefully walked the corridors, now that she knew why they were here, she understood why this place looked like a prison. Narrow corridors, doors that can be opened with a code so that they have no chance of anything.
She had been wandering the maze-like corridors for ten minutes when a conversation from one of the rooms filtered through the door. She approached cautiously, pressing her ear against the thick metal door to see if she could hear what was going on. She first heard the voice of the woman who had taken them out into the forest.
"Elias, Lana must be the one we've been waiting for a long time. I smelled her blood, I could recognize her out of a thousand. She is" the woman said confidently.
"Cassandra, if this is definitely true, I will definitely visit the girl to see for myself. But we shouldn't indulge ourselves, we've been through this a few times, you know that" presumably this deep male voice is connected to Elias. "Hmm...looks like I don't have to go, she walked in front of me herself."
As this sentence left Elias' mouth, the door suddenly burst open, causing Lana to fall straight into the room. The sudden fall knocked all the air out of her lungs, which resulted in suffocation. Elias got up from his seat, but Lana didn't look at him yet, she was busy catching her breath. The man walked over to her, and picked her up from the floor with a light movement. He held her in a bridal pose, looking deeply into Lana's brown eyes.
The girl couldn't even blink, the only thing in her mind was that she was going to be executed for listening to him. The man's eyes glistened yellow in the neon light, almost glowing in the semi-darkness. Lana stared back at the amazingly handsome man with slightly parted lips. His short black hair was disheveled on the top of his head, and his prominent chin, in its clenched state, accentuated his line even more. She had never seen such a beautiful man before, but then she remembered that she was not a man's benefactor, so she quickly got out of his grip.
She took a few steps back trembling, holding her hands in front of her, and never took her eyes off the two vampires in front of her. When she was sure that they wouldn't hurt her, she quickly turned her back on them and ran the distance to her room. After tearing open the door of the room, she slammed it back with the same quick momentum, then slid down to the floor with her back to it.
