The New Elemental God

Leaning against the wall, Hikari patiently waited for the boy to come out.

"Are you feeling better?" she asked.

Too embarrassed to speak, Adam nodded. Scanning her body, he didn't find any signs of bruises. In her eyes, there was no judgment.

"Let's sit. We have much to discuss."

Meeting his colleagues' gazes was also tough, but both of them seemed happy to see him calmer. Adam had no idea what had gotten into him.

"Calder made pancakes for you," Shu said, sitting in the air with his legs crossed, hovering centimeters above the chair's seat.

The image was so absurd that Adam chuckled.

"Nothing." Adam answered while Shu raised an eyebrow, serving him a pile of steaming pancakes.

For trio of strangers, the Elementals were very understanding of him. If someone kept screwing up and disobeying orders like he had, Adam would have kicked that guy's ass in a heartbeat.
