Chapter 9.2 - Just Listen

Alone in the shadows, Adam could feel curiosity… No, something more primal, as instinct calling him from within the walls.

With nothing to lose, the boy turned to the wall behind him. Unpretentiously, Adam reached for the rock. As his finger made contact with the rough material, he felt the other side was hollow, and immense.

Once again, he would be dumping people who were trying to help him, but what the hell, that was his journey in the end.

Brushing the worries off, Adam opened a hole in the hollow wall and grabbed the torch Loud left with him before entering the unknown.

The other side was much bigger, and the air wasn't thick; it was flowing. But how could it be, since they were so deep inside the mountain?
