Unexpected jackpot

Arno remained focused on watching the monitor screen in front of him, even though his mind was still slightly distracted by Rick's actions.

From the start, they had agreed that the CCTV and control room were his responsibility. However, Rick had destroyed the CCTV. Was that intentional? If so, it meant that Rick still didn't fully trust him. Or maybe, Rick was just being really careful and didn't want the slightest mistake in this plan.

Arno sighed softly, choosing to ignore his anxiety. His job now was not to think about Rick's decision, but to make sure everything went according to plan.

While continuing to observe the monitor screen and giving instructions, his mind drifted slightly to Rick's role in this action. Technically, Rick didn't seem to play much of a role. He was only tasked with eliminating Bruno and his men, something more personal than strategic. However, behind all that, Rick's role was very crucial.

If Bruno and his men were alive or knew about this plan, they could have leaked it to the wardens. Bruno has a special relationship with several wardens and the head of the prison. If even one of Bruno's men found out about their actions, this plan would fall apart before it could even get off the ground. Rick is the one who makes sure that doesn't happen. Everyone in this group has their own duties, and all of them are equally important.

However, if Rick fails or is killed, the three of them must continue this plan on their own. Arno knows the world outside the Ironclad prison is no safer, but he doesn't want to spend another four years here. He has someone he needs to see, someone who means a lot to him.

While still watching the monitor, Arno began to open access to the prison's main server. His hands deftly typed command after command, breaking through the supposedly impenetrable security system. This was one of his specialties, hacking and manipulating digital data.

As he dug deeper, his eyes suddenly widened. Before him were several secret documents that shocked him. Corruption and bribery data involving the three wardens of Ironclad Prison, two former wardens and the current warden. This was a huge scandal, and strangely, no one knew about it.

But that wasn't the only thing that shocked Arno. Inside the server, he found something more valuable, crypto coins that were the result of money laundering from bribery and corruption. The amount was incredibly large, probably reaching millions of dollars or euros if converted to real currency.

Arno felt as if he had just found a treasure. His heart was beating fast, not because of fear, but because of excitement that was hard to contain. Quickly, he stood up and looked for something in the room. His hands searched every drawer, shelf, and cupboard. He needed storage media. After a while, he finally found dozens of flash drives that were used to store CCTV recordings.

"This is it..." he muttered, almost unable to believe his luck.

Without hesitation, he deleted all the recordings on the flash drive and began to transfer the data on the prison warden's corruption to it. However, he didn't just copy it, he transferred it completely, erasing any traces from the server. This way, no one in this prison would be able to access the data anymore.

Then, he turned to crypto coins. The amount was too large to store on one flash drive, so he divided it into four devices. Now, in his hands were four flash drives containing a combination of digital money and evidence of the wardens' crimes.

A jackpot he did not expect.

Arno wanted to laugh, but he held it in. It wasn't time yet. There was still a lot to do before he could truly enjoy his findings.

Quickly, he sat back down and turned his gaze to the monitor. His focus returned to the main plan. His eyes scanned every corner of the screen, looking for the latest developments.

On one of the monitor screens, Arno smiled slightly as he saw Rick coming out of the dining room. That meant Rick had successfully defeated Bruno and all of his men. Although he didn't see the fight directly, the end result was enough to amaze him, Rick had truly defeated them all by himself.

However, the pleasure was short-lived. Arno's eyes immediately shifted to another screen showing two guards walking towards the corridor where Rick was. They weren't too far away, and if Rick wasn't careful, they might suspect him.

Arno hurriedly grabbed his communication device, ready to warn Rick. However, before he could say a word, he fell silent.

He just realized that Rick didn't have a communication device. He could only be contacted after getting a communication device from the warden. And again, what was more surprising, Rick seemed to have been aware of the two wardens from the start.

Arno watched the screen more closely. Rick continued to walk leisurely, showing no sign of alertness or anxiety.

As the distance grew closer, Rick passed the two guards. However, just a step after passing them, Rick suddenly turned around. Quickly, he swung the iron bar he was carrying and hit one of the guards hard on the head. The guard immediately fell, unconscious.

The other warden was shocked and hurriedly took out a stun gun, intending to shoot it at Rick. However, before he could pull the trigger, Rick deftly hit the warden's hand, causing the stun gun to slip and fall to the floor. Not giving him a chance, Rick immediately hit the back of the warden's head with an iron bar, instantly knocking him out.

Arno, who witnessed all of this from the monitor screen, could only gape before finally shaking his head. "Crazy... He's really efficient," he muttered.

However, he could not remain amazed for long. Quickly, he connected the communication device from the surveillance room to the communication device carried by one of the guards Rick had defeated. A moment later, a beeping sound was heard from the device.

Rick, who was just about to move, was surprised to hear the sound of the communication device ringing. However, his surprise disappeared when he heard a familiar voice.

"Rick, it's me, Arno. I've taken control of the surveillance room," said Arno's voice from the communication device. "Take the communication device and listen carefully."

Rick took the communication device and put it to his ear. "I hear you."

"Don't waste time. Secure the two guards now. And follow the plan." Arno gave the order.

Rick sighed softly as he gave a short answer. "Understood."

Without wasting any time, Rick dragged the bodies of the two guards to a dark corner of the hallway, tying their hands and feet with the ropes that had been prepared. Just like the others, he also stripped off all their clothes, then wore the clothes of one of the guards for disguise.

Meanwhile, Arno was busy again in the surveillance room. His fingers moved quickly on the keyboard, deleting all the CCTV footage that recorded today's events. He didn't want to leave even the slightest trace.

"Damn, they put up extra encryption..." he muttered, but that didn't stop him.

While continuing to play his fingers on the keyboard, Arno spoke to Rick again.

"Rick, listen carefully! Now you immediately go to the garage room, I will keep an eye on you from here while providing information on the location of every remaining warden, you can paralyze them while walking to the garage. I will come out of the control room and catch up with you after deleting all the CCTV data today "

"Alright... you work neatly as usual." Rick said jokingly.

"I'm serious, Rick. Now go to the garage immediately, we'll all gather there, and Oslan will be there soon."

Rick answered Arno's order with a short answer. "Okay, understood."

Arno didn't reply, just smiled faintly before finally turning off the communication.

Meanwhile, Rick continued to walk calmly towards the garage, realizing that their plan was almost at its final stage.
