Successfully Exited

As soon as the three steel cars drove out of the garage, they moved quickly towards the end of the prison gate. The heavy engine of the vehicle growled softly in the silence of the night, following the rocky road that led to the exit. The red lights from the guard tower rotated slowly, illuminating a small part of the area around the gate.

It didn't take long for them to arrive at the main gate of Ironclad Prison. As expected, the presence of three steel cars that suddenly came out of the prison complex immediately caught the attention of the guards. Although these vehicles were prison assets, every activity in and out still had to go through strict inspection procedures. That was the standard SOP in every prison or high-level facility.

The two guards on duty in the watchtower seemed to immediately realize something was wrong. They rushed down the tower via the winding iron stairs. Their steps were hurried, but still alert.

From inside the car, Oslan was ready. His eyes were sharp observing the movements of the two guards, his index finger already on the trigger of the long-barreled stun gun he was holding. Once they were within optimal shooting distance, Oslan pulled the trigger without hesitation.

ZAP!

One of the guards immediately gasped as an electric current of more than ten thousand kilovolts hit his body. His body convulsed for a moment before losing consciousness, then he fell down the stairs, his body rolling before finally hitting the ground hard. The sound of broken bones was faintly heard amidst the tension of the night.

The second guard who saw his colleague collapse was immediately shocked. He hurriedly pulled his gun from his holster, his index finger ready to pull the trigger. However, before he could shoot...

ZAP!

Grady, who was already ready from inside the car, pulled the trigger of his stun gun. The electric current hit the warden right in the chest. Just like his partner, his body immediately lost control and he fell down the stairs in the same way, his body rolling before finally slamming on the ground in an unnatural position.

However, the problem was not over.

Another warden, who was still on the guard tower, realized that something was wrong down there. He paused for a moment, then quickly tried to run into the tower room. His goal was clear, to press the emergency alarm or get a weapon to fight back.

But clearly, he failed to achieve his goal.

From inside the rear car, Rick raised his long-barreled stun gun, adjusting the angle of the shot with great precision. The distance was quite far, but for Rick, that was no problem.

Without hesitation, he pulled the trigger.

ZAP!

A burst of electricity shot out and hit the warden who was running into the room. His body immediately collapsed in the doorway of the tower. His consciousness disappeared in a matter of seconds.

Everything went smoothly..

Oslan and Grady immediately got out of their car and approached the two unconscious guards below. They deftly tied the two men using the ropes they had prepared earlier.

Meanwhile, from below, Oslan glanced up at the tower and shouted to Rick, "Hey, Rick! Tie up the guard up there too!"

Rick sighed, clearly reluctant to do so, but still got out of the car and walked towards the tower stairs at a leisurely pace. He climbed the stairs one by one, then when he reached the top, he found the third guard still lying unconscious near the door of the tower room.

Without wasting any time, Rick tied the warden's hands and feet, making sure the man wouldn't cause any trouble once he woke up.

However, before going down, his eyes glanced into the guard tower room. Inside the room, he found several firearms and several smoke grenades stored in a safe that happened to be open.

He smiled a little.

Quickly, he took all the weapons in the room and put them into his storage dimension. After making sure that nothing was left behind, Rick went back down from the tower.

Downstairs, Oslan and Grady had finished their work. The two guards they had tied up had been positioned in an inconspicuous place so that they would not be immediately visible from outside.

Meanwhile, Arno was already sitting in front of the main gate control panel. His hands deftly pressed several buttons, inputting the access code he had obtained earlier.

Srek… Srek…

Slowly, the giant steel gate began to open.

Before them, lay the way out of the Ironclad prison. Beyond the gates, there was only the pitch blackness of night. The moon that had previously hung in the sky had now disappeared, leaving only the faint silhouettes of the vast forest trees.

When the gates were fully open, Oslan glanced at Arno. "Time to go."

Arno nodded, then jumped back into his car. Grady and Rick also got into their respective vehicles.

Without wasting any time, the three steel cars began to move forward, passing the prison boundary that had held them captive.

As Rick passed through the massive gates of the Ironclad Prison, which had once seemed impossible to pass through, he felt as if a new world had opened up before him.

The nearly ten-meter-high prison walls, which had once shut out any hope of escape, were now a grim memory behind him. With the sturdy steering wheel of the armored car in his hands, Rick laughed heartily, his voice echoing in the dim cabin.

"Hahaha... Finally I really made it out!" Rick shouted while laughing happily.

While continuing to drive, Rick turned his gaze out the window. Along the road, there were only various types of towering trees.

Among the trees, several small lamps were attached to street poles, emitting dim light that created mystical shadows. The atmosphere that night seemed strange and magical, as if inviting hidden souls to wander among the darkness.

Rick was silent for a moment, enjoying the scenery as he drove. In his mind, he remembered how Ironclad Prison was built in the middle of a forest that was originally just an artificial forest. However, over the decades, the artificial forest grew and turned into a real forest, a forest that now stretches for dozens of miles. At each end of the forest, there is a fast-flowing river, creating a natural barrier that makes the location of this prison completely isolated from the outside world.

"No wonder no inmates have been able to escape from here..." Rick muttered softly with a sneer. "This prison is indeed designed to isolate criminal prisoners."

Rick realized that its location at the southernmost tip of Great Britain, precisely in Cornwall County, in the parish of Penzance, also added to the despair for anyone who dared to dream of escape.

Isolated by dense forests and rivers that surrounded it, Ironclad was designed in such a way that escape by running or just using foot was an impossible task. Not only did the prisoners have to cross the vast forest, but they also had to deal with the fast-flowing river and the threat of wild animals that roamed at night. That was why armored vehicles were the only safe option for those who wanted to escape, and Rick was lucky to get the armored car.

Inside the car, Rick's happy laughter became more and more free as the car's speed continued to increase. However, the happiness was not solely because he had managed to get free from prison. Behind his wide smile and cheerful laughter, there was one thought that kept echoing in his mind. Someone very important to him, he must meet immediately, no matter the risk.

"I must meet them both soon…" he whispered as he gripped the steering wheel tighter. "No matter how chaotic the world is out there, they both are the only ones who make all my suffering go away, I hope they both don't get into any trouble."

Rick knows that the outside world, even though it is now on the brink of the apocalypse, offers something far more valuable than freedom alone. Freedom is the beginning, but the ultimate goal is to meet someone who has long been his life support. Who makes him inevitably have to become someone strong.

Someone who is the reason why he is willing to risk his life to escape the shackles of this prison, even though the outside world is full of destruction and chaos.

As the car drove, Rick continued to observe the scenery outside. Tall trees towering majestically, small lights flickering faintly in the darkness, and the drifting fog added to the mystical feel of the night. The atmosphere reminded him that all the things that seemed impossible in prison were now beyond him.
