Elias was born into a world where dreams are not just dreams—they are power. Dreams manifest as vibrant colors, unique to every person, a reflection of their soul and passion. But the world Elias was meant to inherit has crumbled into something far darker.
The world was once filled with color and life, but it now lies in ruin. A colossal, mysterious chasm opened in the earth, and from it poured the Nightmares—terrifying, monstrous beings who prey on the very essence of humanity. As they terrorized the world, they drained the color from everything, turning people into featureless statues known as Nulls. These drained souls, void of emotion and will, were condemned to fade away into nothingness.
Desperate to protect what remained of their world, Heroes emerged, Dreamers are what people called them, they fought back the nightmares and began gaining ground but that wouldn't last long. The nightmares kept coming back stronger as time went on.
Elias was raised in a home not far from a dead-man zone, a dangerous place where many nightmares reign. Raised by his Adoptive father on his own, the two became inseparable, however, it came time to send Elias away, into the unknown. Who knows what dangers lurked. But Elias didn’t care, quickly he understood what became of the world outside of his small home once he was forced away by the threat of death, he vowed to fight the monsters and see to it, the end of the colorless era.
FINALLY SMTH THATS NOT A SOLO LEVELING RM 😭🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello everyone! UncheckedText here, and I wanted to give a short and honest review of my own book. This is my first book, so I am a "novice author," so please expect some flaws in my work. [SPOILERS BELOW] The story follows a boy named Elias and his journey to becoming something people look up to. That's what it is on the surface. However, the story is much deeper than that. It's about the struggles of actually achieving your dream, the everlasting pain, and guilt of losing someone you held dear to you, and showing that no one is perfect, you won't be able to solve every single problem or save every person. Every time I write something, I want it to leave an impact on someone and teach someone something. Well, maybe not every time, but most of the time. So I hope you enjoy this book. Also! The publish schedule is wonky because I have school and other responsibilities, but over time (summer and school breaks), the schedule will be every other day.
