36. Burning Youth

Besides Biwa Juzo with the Kubikiribocho (Executioner Blade) and Kuriarare Kushimaru wielding the Nuibari (Sewing Needle), the remaining members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen soon arrived on the battlefield.

They were:

Raiga Kurosuki, the wielder of the Thunder Swords: Kiba, with dark green hair, matching green eyeliner, and bandages wrapped around his entire body.

Fuguki Suikazan, a towering figure with twin buns, sharp teeth, and the massive bandaged blade Samehada (Sharkskin) on his back.

Jinpachi Munashi, with a single eye, brown beard braided into two tails, and the Explosive Blade: Shibuki.

Mangetsu Hozuki, with spiky blue hair and the dual swords Hiramekarei.

Jinin Akebino, carrying a massive axe and hammer combination, the Blunt Sword: Kabutowari.

Faced with this overwhelming lineup, Genma Shiranui and Ebisu, who had been knocked to the ground, couldn't stop trembling.

But Might Guy stood firm, his eyes unwavering.

Though he could feel the immense pressure exuded by the enemy, it was no reason for him to back down. Even if it cost him his life, he was determined to take a piece of the enemy with him!

"We have to show them the power of our youth! Genma! Ebisu!" Guy exclaimed passionately.

"You've got spirit, kid. If we weren't pressed for time, I might've had fun torturing you a bit," he sneered.

Jinpachi Munashi, sensing Suikazan's usual sadistic tendencies, coldly reminded him, "Fuguki, our mission is to capture Mitokado Homura alive, not to waste time playing with these brats."

Fuguki glared at Jinpachi, baring his sharp teeth. "I know that! Don't lecture me!"

He then turned back to the group and raised his massive blade wrapped in bandages. "I'll finish them off quickly!"

In an instant, the killing intent spread like wildfire.

The oppressive aura was so overwhelming that Genma, despite his resolve, spat out the senbon he was biting. Ebisu was already shivering uncontrollably.

Only Might Guy stood unyielding, biting his own tongue to focus his mind and steeling himself for a final stand.

At that moment, a figure suddenly appeared from the side.

"I won't let you hurt Guy! Take this, Leaf Whirlwind!"

With a sharp shout, a powerful kick struck Fuguki's descending blade. The force was so immense that it actually forced the towering man to retreat a few steps.

Dressed in the same green jumpsuit, with thick brows and large eyes, the Konoha genin Might Duy had arrived on the scene!

"Dad! What are you doing here?" Guy's face lit up with joy and relief.

Guy adamantly refused, determined to stay and fight alongside his father.

Duy, however, flashed a bright, toothy grin at his son.

These words deeply moved Might Guy, tears gushing out of his eyes like waterfalls.

Under Might Duy's persuasion, Guy finally agreed to escape with his teammates.

The enemy was still watching!

"What a touching little drama," Fuguki Suikazan said with a cruel smile. "But this isn't a place where you can leave or stay as you please!"

With the combined power of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, not even the Third Hokage of Konoha himself could get out unscathed, let alone a green-suited weirdo.

"This time, I'll take care of it!" declared Jinin Akebino.

Without hesitation, he charged forward with his massive hammer and axe, aiming for the group.

Determined to protect his son and his comrades, Might Duy didn't hold back. He immediately activated the Seven Gates of the Eight Inner Gates formation.

A surge of green chakra erupted from every pore in his body, creating a powerful aura that swept across the battlefield.

The sight was shocking, but Jinin Akebino pressed on undeterred, swinging his massive hammer down.

Unflinching, Might Duy lifted a leg and kicked directly at the incoming hammer.

The force of his kick was so immense that it sent the legendary Blunt Sword: Kabutowari, known for breaking through any defense, flying out of Jinin's hands!

The remaining six swordsmen were momentarily stunned.

Since when did Konoha have someone like this?

Seizing the moment, Might Duy shouted to Guy and the others, "Now's your chance! Run!"

Guy nodded firmly, grabbing his stunned teammates and quickly fleeing into the distance.

But the enemy had no intention of letting them go so easily.

Raiga Kurosuki, wielding the Thunder Swords: Kiba, unleashed a burst of lightning and dashed toward the fleeing trio.

However, with the power of the Seven Gates, Might Duy's speed and strength had increased exponentially. In a flash, he intercepted Raiga.

"Feel the weight of my youth!" he roared, delivering another devastating kick.

Raiga barely managed to block with his twin swords but was sent flying, crashing through several trees before coming to a halt.

Seeing this, the other swordsmen sprang into action.

Kuriarare Kushimaru struck first, manipulating his Nuibari (Sewing Needle) to send countless steel threads silently shooting out from the ground, binding Might Duy tightly.

Fuguki Suikazan then leaped into the air, his massive frame wielding the bandaged Samehada like a mountain crashing down, aiming directly at Duy.

Sensing the deadly threat, Might Duy had no choice but to unleash his full strength. Ignoring the threads slicing into his body, he caught Samehada with both hands, halting its descent.

However, this was exactly what Fuguki had planned.

The moment Duy's hands touched Samehada, the blade began devouring his green chakra aura, draining him completely.

Taking advantage of Duy's weakened state, Fuguki delivered a powerful kick, sending him flying and spitting blood.

Without the protection of his chakra, the impact caused massive internal damage, leaving Duy's stomach churning in pain.

"Your taijutsu is impressive, but this is the end for you," Fuguki sneered as he approached, the bandages around Samehada unraveling to reveal its sharp, beast-like spikes.

"Guy... it seems I'll be leaving ahead of you."

"Before I go, let me show you the full extent of my youth!"

With a determined gaze, Might Duy prepared to open the Eighth Gate: Gate of Death, planning to sacrifice himself and take the enemy down with him.

But before he could act, countless paper fragments suddenly rained down from the sky!
