Scarred by past heartbreaks, Eric Fisher, and Evelyn Hale decide to go on a fake date. Doing so in order to make their loved one stop worrying too much about them.

But things get complicated with the return of their exes.

With their lie carrying on for longer than intended, feelings develop. But neither are aware that their feelings are reciprocated. While trying to navigate their developing emotions, they also have to deal with their exes wanting them back.

Will Evelyn and Eric not only realize their love for each other. But also be able to cling to it. Or will the pressures of society, and their toxic exes tear them apart?
