The Greatest Showman #1020 - Star Halo

Interviews on the Set of Edge of Tomorrow

"Donald, I heard the crew had a great time working together this time. How was your experience with Renly? Was everything smooth between you two?"

"Oh, Renly, Renly, Renly… Let me think. He's like a demon. Yes, you heard that right, a demon. He looks like an angel but is actually a demon who can make you lose your mind. But, uh...

Well, that sounds weird, but honestly, I love him. He's an incredible guy, a real master of mischief. I mean, you wouldn't expect someone so cold and gentle on the outside to be such a troublemaker in real life. Don't mess with him, seriously."

"Kaya, what was your experience filming Edge of Tomorrow? I heard Renly is a very demanding actor. Did you feel the pressure working alongside him?"

"Of course, I was nervous. He's only twenty-two, and I was a bit intimidated. But once we started shooting, it was amazing. Every moment was a learning experience. And... well, the pranks. Haha.

Yes, Renly has this way of making you suffer in the funniest, most understated way. Donald definitely felt it, haha, he must have told you about it, right?"

"Paul, everyone knows you and Renly are close friends. How did this collaboration compare to your last one?"

"It was more relaxed and enjoyable. On set, Renly is a dedicated actor, and whenever he needs to lead the scene, he does so without hesitation. When it's his turn to support, he's just as committed. Working with him reminds me why acting is such a joy.

And the pranks... haha! I won't speak ill of him behind his back, but he's a gentleman, truly."

"Jennifer..."

"Don't ask me about pranks! You know Renly's there, and he hears everything we say. Things could go downhill fast if we're not careful! But, if you're asking about acting alongside him... it's challenging in the best way. If we ever get a chance to work together again, maybe on an art film, I'd sign up instantly."

The premiere of Edge of Tomorrow was one to remember. There was no isolated zone for the stars, and they stood right on the red carpet with the fans and reporters, mingling as equals. It felt like the lines between actors, fans, and reporters blurred. In the middle of it all, the atmosphere was surreal.

Suddenly, a unified cheer erupted from the crowd: "Master! Master! Master!" The sound was deafening, growing louder and more intense, reverberating like thunder. It surged through the air, making the earth tremble.

Everyone turned in unison to see the source of this excitement.

The red carpet for Edge of Tomorrow stretched almost a hundred meters, winding through Hollywood Boulevard. The sea of over 1,500 fans packed tightly along both sides created a scene that was more intense than a rock concert.

The crowd stood orderly, raising their hands in the air, chanting "Master!" The energy was palpable—intense, overwhelming, yet strangely organized. No pushing or shoving, just a shared show of admiration.

And in the midst of it all, a lone figure appeared.

He was wearing a simple white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, navy casual pants, and low-top white shoes—unadorned but somehow striking. His tousled golden-brown curls danced in the breeze, and his warm smile captured everyone's attention. His dark brown eyes sparkled with something otherworldly.

It was Renly Hall.

Gavin couldn't help but snap a photo, the memories of Bradley Adams' first encounter with Renly at the War in the Pacific premiere flooding back. Back then, Renly was a newcomer, unknown to most, but Bradley's camera had captured his essence. Now, years later, Renly had become the leader of a new generation of stars, yet his essence remained unchanged.

The calmness and elegance Renly exuded had only grown more refined with time, but it still held that invisible aura—a halo that made it impossible to look away.

On the red carpet, Renly paused for a moment, soaking in the deafening cheers. The sight was surreal: he stood at the center of a world all his own, bathed in admiration and respect, yet everything was so calm and composed.

A warmth settled in his heart. Just a few months ago, at the premiere of I'm Fighting Cancer, he had been moved by the support of fans on the West End. Now, Hollywood fans seemed to understand him even more deeply. Compared to his previous premiere, tonight was more chaotic, but somehow more organized and more intense. It was a hammering wave of support that struck Renly's heart, filling him with a strange sense of warmth and happiness.

For the first time, Renly felt truly appreciated—not just for his fame but for the understanding and recognition he had earned. It was a moment of peace, like Sisyphus finding rest after his endless struggle.

Motivated by the love surrounding him, Renly walked toward the fans, seeking familiar and unfamiliar faces, engaging with them, laughing and talking.

"Master, can I take a photo with you?" a young girl asked, her voice trembling as tears welled up in her eyes. Just seeing Renly was enough to make her cry, but she tried her hardest to hold herself together.

Renly chuckled warmly. "Of course, it's my pleasure!"

The girl's scream of joy echoed through the crowd, but Renly remained calm, guiding her into a friendly embrace. "Is this pose alright, or would you prefer a little more space?"

The fans around them erupted into uncontrollable cheers, but Renly never took his eyes off the girl. "If I'm being too forward, I'm sorry," he said gently. The girl quickly shook her head and shyly leaned into his chest, struggling to hold her phone steady.

"May I?" Renly asked, taking the phone from her hand. He snapped the photo and handed it back. "Thanks so much for your support. I really appreciate it."

Renly gave the girl a final hug before turning to leave.

"Master!" the girl called out, her voice breaking as she gathered the courage to ask, "Can you open a Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter? We just want a place to stay connected with you."

Renly paused, noticing the eager looks on the faces of everyone around her. He laughed softly. "I'll look into it." With that, he waved goodbye and moved on.

The crowd couldn't contain their excitement any longer, their shouts filling the air. It was a moment of pure, dreamlike joy, like living inside a bubble of pink-hued happiness.
