It’s hoverball day

Alex stepped through the towering crystal archway of Starhaven Academy, his boots echoing on the polished marble floor, the morning sunlight streaming through massive stained-glass windows, casting kaleidoscopic patterns of blue and gold across the bustling hall.

Students swarmed around him, their vibrant tunics a blur of color, their voices a lively hum of chatter and laughter, the air thick with the scent of fresh parchment and faintly sweet elixirs from nearby classrooms.

He hadn't taken more than a few steps when a familiar voice cut through the noise, sharp and teasing.

"Hey, blondie!" Bastian called, his piercing blue eyes glinting with mischief as he waved from across the hall, his lopsided grin wide enough to draw attention.

Heads turned, students pausing mid-conversation, their curious gazes locking onto Alex, some whispering, others smirking at the commotion.
