Chapter 3 Identify revealed.

"What...what do you know about my parents whereabout and how did you know them?" I asked in a shaky voice. I really wanted to know who my parents are and my real identity.

"Your parents were very powerful demons but due to your birth they had to go into hiding"

"Continue is that all you know? Spill it!" I said getting impatient.

"Your great grandmother is a witch that got married to a demon. Then the witches and demons lived in peace bit only few got married outside their specie and your great grandmother was among. She birthed ason and named him Nathan. Nathan a half demon and witch the only child of his parents got married to a female demon, your grandmother Jane. They loved each other and had a child. The child turns out to be a very beautiful girl, Cherish. But during the period of her growing up her grandfather died. The witches killed him. That was the great war that happened between both realms. Cherish, your mother grew into a beautiful and powerful mixed blood. She was more powerful than her lineage. She ended up getting married to a demon that also happened to be very powerful at that time. His name is Damon your birth father." He paused to look at my face. Well shocked was clearly visible on my face. I couldn't have imagined being a half witch and demon. Wow this is awesome!

" Please proceed. I need to know why I got separated from my family." I said urging him on.

" Years after your parents married they had you, Irene is the name your mother gave you. There was extreme happiness in the family until it was time for the divination. This was to see the child's destiny, and what she had ahead of her. But to everyone's shock, you were the chosen one who would end the chaos in all the realms, you were destined to be mated to a very powerful creature, a Demon lord. You were born with immense powers. Unfortunately news travelled as fast as the wind and many wanted to kill you. Some wanted to eliminate you because you are a threat to their existence while some wanted to harvest your powers. A little girl had so much enemies.

Your mother was able to hide you away for a year with the help of your great-grandmother protecting spell but it couldn't last long. So she had to send you away from the underworld to the human realm. It wasn't totally the safest but at least it was better than staying with them. Before she left you, she gave you a bracelet that will block all other creatures from sensing you. Even I couldn't locate you." He broke down all the lost informations.

"But when your mother sent you away, both witches, demons, vampires, and other creatures of the night had already found your mother requesting to hand you over. Your mother told them that you had died early that morning and showed them the body. But the body was a dummy made by your grandmother and transferred some powers into it so that the witches would believe it. The witches weren't easy to fool but they bought the lie. Years later we sense something powerful and that was you bit it only lasted a few minutes making it difficult to track you. The creatures discovered that they were fooled by your parents and went hunting after them. But thanks to your grand mother and your mother, they joined their powers together and built a protective barrier in the most desolate place. The purpose of the barrier was to make their hideout invincible to the outside world."

I stared at him for a while before asking him. " If my parents were in hiding how did you know their whereabouts? And how did you find me if this bracelet made it impossible to locate me?"

" Well I am a family friend soI knew where they hid but they couldn't tell me where you are. They didn't even know where you are. They only told me that you weren't dead but was sent to the human world. I had tried tracking you down but all results ended futile but thanks to the mate bond I found you."

" Never take of that bracelet. You are still in danger and you haven't learned how to use your powers". He added.

I was shocked. The information was getting too much for my brain to absorb.

" So what's this thing you call mate?"

" Well just like the human world call it soulmate, ours is mate. It's a deep bond you share with the person chosen to be with you by the Supreme goddess. I know that you feel attached to me right? I'm the powerful demon destined to be with you."

" Okay, so you are also a demon. Judging by how you explained everything thing to me, you must be centuries old." I said loudly stroking my chin.

" Haha well I'm not centuries old. I'm only over 700." He said nonchalantly like he was talking about the weather.

" Huh I wasn't expecting you to be so old! You look really young."

" That's a special quality I possess. Supernatural creatures have the ability to live extremely long compared to humans but not all can look this young at my age. I'm immortal. A direct descendant of the devil so you can call me a prince." He said winking at me.

" A crown prince?" I asked, my interest growing without boundaries.

"No, I never wished to be one." He replied frowning at the thought.

I found myself enjoying his company that I had forgotten I asked him to leave my room an hour ago.

"Okay. So what's going to happen now?" I asked.

"Well, we will get married and have lots of babies." He said but when I turned sharply to him he chuckled softly.

" Just kidding. Although we will still get married. But from now you need to be prepared and start training." He paused shortly and continued

" I'll be your training guide. I'll only be able to help with your demon side but when the time comes you'll learn how to cast spells and the rest. For now we will start with physical training. Swordmanship!"

"Ughh, I am currently in college and I need to find a part-time job now you are adding training to the list." I said lowering my head down in complaint.

" You don't have to worry about that. Besides you are part demon you don't need to attend class to pass, about the job you don't need one. I'm here for you and I'll provide everything you'll be needing. I won't want my wife working for anyone.You belong only to me."

Wow what a possessive man! Well... I am not really sure about everything but I put my trust in him. I just have this indescribable feeling to trust him.

"I'll leave you to rest now. You are having lectures in the evening and I noticed you didn't get enough sleep at night." He said grinning widely at me.

"See you wife." With that he vanished. The first thing I would like to learn is how to teleport!

I rolled onto my bed and drifted off.
